I created this for Mix it Up Monday's over at Stamp TV, the challenge this week is 3's. My main card is 3 layers, 3 flowers on 3 layers and 3 rhinestone. This card is  7 1/2 by 4 1/4.

Friends are Forever

Good morning all..Well I went over to my old neighborhood and took my girlfriends dog speed racing ;).. His name is Hercules, his photo is on my side bar down a ways. I sure do miss him, he stayed with me during Christmas, we raced around this park 5 & 6 times a day. He is hilariousness when running with his little short legs and his ears flapping in the wind. :)

 

I created this card for the Free For All Friday over at Stamp TV. Their challenge is to use your favorite Gina K stamp and your favorite colors. One of my favorite colors is black and white. Now I used 2 Gina K stamps. Friends are forever and Lovely labels 2 using spellbinders label 15.

So Sweet

Good Morning!! It is another rainy day here in RI and my grass is so tall that I will need a weed wacker to mow it down :). But one of the things I love about Spring and Summer is flowers, they smell so good.

I have created this card for the Stamp TV color challenge, (just in the nick of time) .

Good Morning! Well I am waiting for the moving company to come this morning to give me an estimate on moving me home to TN. I am taking early retirement to go back to my son's father and take care of him. July 1, will be my last day at work. I have more stuff for card making then anything else :).

This card is for the Stamp TV sketch challenge. I stamped Gina K "Friends are forever" 3 times and colored it with copics and used fancy tags cut in half, then used my crimper to do the back ground.

Well I am having fun being off this week, my company shuts down for Christmas and we do not go back until after the new year, and that is with pay. I can get used to retirement :). 


As you may have noticed I do not do many winter scenes and colors, I am a Summer baby and love bright and summery images.

Never Alone

Well I am sure many of you have heard that we here in New England are being hit by a blizzard! I am in RI and the snow is pouring down, matter of fact as I was doing this post the electricity went out. But one thing we are never without up here is candles and flash lights. :)

One thing I have noticed the older I get, the less fear I have. It is a blessing to know the Lord at a young age, you become so rooted and ground in Christ and experience so many things that when you do get old everything is a breeze.  But as I am reminded many times by my friends in the Lord, I have been blessed with a gift of faith. :). Either way-I am blessed to have so much peach in my life.

Day 4 at Stamp TV

Well it is day 4 over at Stamp TV. Today's challenge is buttons. If this card looks a little familiar it is because I was inspired by Becca's card. Now it is not as elegant but it is lovely :).

I am finishing up making "Black Bean Brownies" and wrapping a  up a few gifts. I have one for my mail man (cash) :) because he is the best post man in the world, he walks up my steps and delivers the mail when I have box's, how sweet is that, in the Winter he takes my shovel and shovels my driveway, so I would say he sure deserves some form of appreciation. 
Yes I am blessed with wonderful neighbors.

I also wanted you to see my C plate from my cuttle bug that I have been using for 2 years, it cracked a few days ago and I am still using it :). Yes I have new ones but why break them out right now when this is still doing the job. :)

I do not know if you heard that Gina K over at Stamp TV is having an awesome challenge.

Stamp is "Labeled with love" Gina K. The embossing folder is sizzix. I gold embossed this label and cut out with label 14, I also cut out the center with the smallest petite oval then popped it up.

Praying for you

Praying for you! My girlfriend called me and told me she could not afford to buy me anything this year; I have told her time and time again I do not need anything. But the greatest gift you can give me is "PRAY FOR ME". You know prayer that you fast and get on your knees and cry out to God on behalf of some one else. I tell you no greater thing I own or can be given is greater then  prayer. It is more valuable then gold or silver, health or life.

I made this card for the Stamp TV sketch challenge.

Gina K Inspire 20

Don't you just hate when you tell some one how to do something they do not do it! That is how we are with our Heavenly Father. He tells us in His word things to do and not to do, He does this for our good to keep us from harm, bad relationships, bad marriages etc. and to maintain a right relationship with Him. Don't you just hate when some one doesn't listen to you!! :).

Easter Sunday Morning

Happy Resurrection Sunday!! What an exciting day, to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I have been up since 1 am studying the book of Proverbs and finishing up this card for the Gina K Inspire17 challenge, "Fancy folds"This is a beautiful Easter set from Gina K by Rupa Shevde "Easter Blessings". The scripture inside is " Oh magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together. Psalms 34:3, Which I intend to do this morning when I get to church.

Morning Glory

What a busy week I have had!! I have been working a lot of overtime, Fri I got home from work at 1 am and had to be back to work Sat. 7 am which did not give me much time to sleep. I am getting to old for this :). My birthday is on Sunday and I can not believe I will be 55 years old.

Well on to the card!! This is for 2 challenges. One is for the stamping sister's in Christ.
Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We must remember we are ambassadors for Christ, our conversation is to be laced with grace and love, our actions is for the edification and uplifting of others. "Jesus said, I did not come to be served but to serve." And that is the mindset we in Christ should have, in word and deed.

The second challenge is for Stamp TV color challenge. Pink and white.

stamp is Stamping up "Morning Glory", stamped on water color paper, yes I had planned on coloring it but decided it looked better untouched. Used nesties, and cuttlebug swiss folder, added some pearls in the center and some polka dot ribbon from stamping up.

I do not like doing Valentine cards, they always remind me of shattered dreams. When I was young I had dreams of a white knight sweeping me off my feet, having a home with lots of children. My white knight turned into "Freddy Krueger" and my home was a "nightmare on elm St." :). But as time went on I have learned that it is Jesus alone who is my knight in shinning armor, who loves me unconditionally, and would never leave me nor forsake me.

This is for the Stamp TV sketch challenge.
This stamp is from High Hopes, one of the first stamps I bought. Stamped on Gina K luxury, colored with copics, which you can see I need more practice on fur and more colors :). The sentiment is computer generated, the dp is basic grey and I used liquid pearls and my nesties, with the new SU punch.

A Summer's Day

Good Monday morning, "It's time to make the donuts" :) I use to love that commercial.. This card is for stamp tv blast from the past using nesties. Stamp TV is by Gina K, click and check it out, lots of challenges, lots of fun, and some of the sweetest people in blog land. :).

Stamp Great impressions, I stamped on Gina K luxury white twice, colored with copics, then cut one out to pop up, the dp is from Stamping up.

The Heart of God

This is for "Blast in the past" over at stamp TV. Heat emboss and you had to use at lest one heart. I love that Gina started this because it gives you a chance to brush up on a lot of techniques she does on video.

Now this is the inside of the card. To me no one loves me better then Christ.

Stamps: verse is by clear dollar stamps, the flowers are from Lindy's stamp gang.
Paper : Gina K luxury white, now this stuff is thick and works so well with nesties.
Tools : nestibilities heart, gold embossing, colored with copics, used Martha Steward punch.
Used swiss folder and my cuttle bug, I love my cuttlebug.

Call Me

Now I am loving this card :). I used "Thinking of You" from Gina K and used my house mouse, so cute. I inked the cuttle bug folder in Terracotta, and used my stamp a ma jig to align the mouse and phone. And yes I use my Stamp a ma jig all the time :). Used labels 2 and labels 6.

I Won Again

This card is for the Paper planet sketch challenge that I just won :) some Basic Grey stamps..yahoooo. First I win from Gina K and now this. Matter of fact this is from the stamp set I won for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV "Lovely Shelf". I masked it and stamped 2 extra stem of flowers, colored with pencils, and copics.
