Gossip

Good Morning all my blogging Friends.

Lately I have been seriously sensitive to gossip & slander; so this will be a little long. :)
Telephones remind me of gossip, this one is from Flourishes. Gossip and slander seems to be the conversation of today. I was in a prayer group and before it started a sister began to slander the pastor, I stopped it immediately and she remained quiet. My grandmother used to tell us, if you can't say something nice don't say anything.

Proverbs 16:27-28 A worthless man digs up evil, While his words are like scorching fire. A perverse man spreads strife, And a slanderer separates intimate friends. (A slanderer is worthless and perverse -- spreading strife.)

Mat 12:36  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

On my job we are called to be peace makers, and when someone comes to me with trash I kindly rebuke them and remind them, "How is this edifying some one?"  If our words can not bring peace, uplift, build up, then we do not need to say anything.  And mind you, this is going on with people who claim to be Christians.

As I remind myself of Mat. that on the day of judgement, every idle word I speak is waiting for me to accuse or release me. I do not want to be ashamed on that day before my Savior.

I received this in the mail from Worthy News yesterday and it brings home what Satan is trying to do among the saints.

One day, a hungry lion who lived nearby spotted these four friends and became determined to catch one. He was no match for all four of them at once, so he would follow them and watch carefully, hoping to catch one alone. Every time he saw one lagging the least bit behind, he would sneak up and whisper to him that the others had been saying unkind things about him. This, he did with each bull until finally all four began to feel suspicious and uneasy around one another. Each thought that the other three were plotting against him.
When the lion succeeded in breaking the trust among them, the bulls went their separate ways....... and one by one, he devoured them.

I'm sure you can see the analogy here. The enemy would love nothing more than to divide us and break the trust among us in the body of Messiah. He knows full well that if he can just get us separated, he can come in for the kill!

Well that is it for me, have a blessed day.

Thanks a Bunch

Hi All.. I sure do pray all of you are doing well and enjoying your Summer.

What a busy summer. I have been painting and adding a new stone wall, gardening and traveling, so you wont be seeing me much until Fall. I want to enjoy the Summer. But I did take time out to do 2 challenges.

These cards are 3x3's. This was the challenge for Flourishes Timely Tuesday.

I created this for House Mouse "Add some sparkle" I sparkled up the bow.

Well that is it for me, will be checking you all out later this week.

God Bless you

Many Blessings

Good Morning all you fabulous bloggers! Well the temps here is reaching 68!  yahooooooo.:)

I made this card for the House mouse challenge "feeling blue" either emotion or color.

I used this stamp, sitting in the rain HM1R1007 that I picked up several years ago for $2.00, you can't beat that for a house mouse stamp. I colored with copics and used stickles for the rain. That ribbon is from Micheal's, and used my cloud die for the sentiment which comes from Gina K "sending sunshine". This card is a 5x5, I am loving this size.

Then I created this card for the Flourishes challenge "Black accents". I think I over did the black :).

This stamp is from Flourishes "a year in flowers" colored with copics, used labels 4 to cut it out. I used the sizzix embossing folder "wood grain" and the ribbon is a win from "really reasonable ribbons". This card is a 4x4. I cut the sentiment out with decorative scissors.

Well that is it for me, I must get ready to go to work. I am going in early today because I have to be back in the morning  at 6 am. It is kind of tough getting home at midnight to be back to work on Sat. for 6 am, so I go in early on Friday so I can get out early and get my beauty sleep. :).

Thank you all for being such a blessing to me by leaving comments, it sure blesses my heart.

You all have a blessed day

Rock a bye baby

Well it is time to go back to work. We shut down for a whole week during Christmas every year which is great in one way but bad in another, "I don't want to go back" :) I know I will love retirement, if I ever see it. "This is for Blast in the past" challenge that Lee is sponsoring over at stamp tv. This one is from a tutorial that Gina did on making bow's, or cheater bow's. And this is a cheater bow :). the bow is made with a bow easy and attached with a glue dot, you tie the main ribbon with a piece of thread so it will look like it is tied not glued. If you have problems like me, hop on over and watch the video. This also is for the challenge over at SSC, make a baby card.

This stamp is from Flourishes "rock a bye baby" colored with copics (which I need a lot more practice) why is it you never see all the flaws until after you have taken the picture and uploaded it?? the designer paper is stamping up, put half pearls as earrings and used my martha steward punch. Well that is it for now,
Have a blessed day

A Beautiful Day

Hope every one is having a wonderful weekend. It is 90 degrees here to day, and I am loving it. I have been to church then Hercules and I have went walking and visiting, and now he is tuckered out :). This stamp is my first from flourishes, I know where have I been!!:) I promised myself that I am going to own at lest one stamp from some of these company's, flourishes, Gina K, Unity etc. This was stamped on Gina K white, (paper does make a difference when coloring) the design paper is from Michaels and the design is from cuttlebug. That is it for now, enjoy the rest of the day. Every thing is done in pencil and gamsol, I do not own copics.
