Hope Grows

How are all of my blogging friends  doing? I am doing great!
I was in church tonight and a 68 year old women got up to testify. She had throat cancer and was going through chemo, the Lord had told her she would be healed and she was, as she was at home recuperating a women high on drugs broke into her house to rob her, she called out "Jesus I need you NOW!" A fight began, the girl tried to stab her in the chest and the women grabbed hold of the blade and pushed the girl off of her and was able to fight her and throw her out the door. I had read about this and was so blessed she came out to church tonight and gave her testimony of God's mighty hand. It was so appropriate because our pastor had preached this morning on "Stop Limiting God."

I made this card for the sketch challenge at Stamp TV. Free for all Friday's.

Recipe:
Stamp: Hope Grows Gina K
Paper: Gina K luxury white, K&Co design paper

My Second one is for Our Daily Bread challenge #96  H-E-A-R-T, word play. I used the H for the heart, E for embossing, R for the color red. The stamp is from ODB Birthday Blessing and the sentiment is from ODB From me to you. The paper is from recollections.

My third one is for Stamp TV Free For All Friday "Lets get  moving" This stamp is from Gina K "Follow your dreams" designed by Theresa Momber.  The paper is Gina K luxury white and Basic Grey. Enjoy Your Life

The sentiment on this card is "Enjoy your day" Do you enjoy your day? People I work with work 10 to 16 hour days, sometimes 6 days a week, they are always stressed out and when they are home they think about their job. Many nights they will come by to talk with me, WHY?? To remind them to enjoy their life, they only have one. I work second shift 4pm to 12:30 am. I am in bed by 2 am and up at 8 am. I start my day with prayer and coffee, then I study the word (bible) at 11pm I take my neighbors dog  walking, I enjoy the beautiful flowers and all the beauty God created, I stop and talk with people. It takes me 20 min to get to work but I leave an hour early, yes in 30 years I have never been late for work. I leave early to eliminate stress, slow drivers do not bother me, bad drivers do not bother me, traffic does not bother me, when I get to work I sit in my car and pray and ask God to direct my foot steps, to bless my mind, to give me wisdom, when I step in the door people are greeted with a smile and yes I will leave cards at night on their desks reminding them that some one cares, that God loves them. Do you enjoy your LIFE?? I pray that you do, because you have only one to live.

This card is for the stamp TV sketch  challenge, the stamp is "Hope Grows" from  Gina K, created by Teresa Momber. Stamped on Gina K luxury white cut out with oval nesties the design paper is SU. Thought I would show the inside of the card.

Have a Blessed Day and enjoy your life

Do not be Anxious

Philip 4:6 Say's "Do not be anxious about anything!" Those of us who have Christ are not to WORRY about anything. When my son was 5 years old he and I went out on Christmas Eve at 1 am to give a jump to a friends car who's battery had died. We were 30 miles from our house, there had been a terrible snow storm that night and I was driving a Volkswagen beetle - and some of you will remember they produced very little heat. When I had got done helping this person and drove for about a mile my car just shut off, I remember getting out of the car, my son snuggled in a blanket and seeing there was no one around, it was cold, windy and snowing and we were stranded on a country road. I remembered God's promise and said it out Loud "Lord you promised me to trust you and not to worry" I need help. And as soon as I had finished saying those words, a truck came around the corner not any truck but a tow truck :) and stopped and asked me if I needed help. This man towed my car all the way to my house free of charge.
God's promises are faithful and true but we must stand on those promises and believe that He loves us and will help us in the time of trouble.

This card is for the Stamp TV sketch challenge, This stamp is from Gina K"Sending Sunshine" by Teresa Momber. I stamped this on Gink K Luxury white, colored with copics, cut out with nesties. The design paper is K&C. For those who may wonder about the date on my cards :) I have reset this camera a dozen times but it seems to go back to the original settings, so I try and catch it and change it before I put the card up, "and some times I forget" like most of the time :).

I wanted to show the inside of this, it came out so pretty.

Have A Blessed Day

Stamp TV Sketch Challenge

I love nature, it always seems that the earth is a canvas and God spoke into it beautiful colors, shapes and fragrances. Like the wisdom of Solomon there are so many lessens in nature. Can you imagine a rose telling a daisy "why do you look like that?" "Why can't you be more like me?" See how grand I am! There is a reason God made us different, whether short, tall, beautiful, not so beautiful, we are His design, His creation and the poorest of poor is held in high esteem as the richest of rich who belong to Christ. The most unhand-some of persons are just as beautiful as the must beautiful in the sight of God!!

This is for the Stamp TV sketch challenge

The stamp is from Gina K"Sending Sunshine" by Theresa Momber. Stamped this on Gina K luxury white, colored with copics and pencil the design paper is K&Co. Love this sketch and love this new stamp set I just got in.

3 Times the fun

The weather here was 45 plus on Thursday and on Friday it was below freezing with the wind chill factor. Thank goodness Feb is almost here because Spring is just around the corner. If you notice I do not do many "Winter Cards" my mind is always on Spring, Summer and Fall.
This card is for the "Stamp TV" sketch challenge. This card is a 5 1/2 by 51/2 square.

Stamp: This is my new set that just came in by Theresa Momber "Autumn Beauty" at Gina K and this stamp set is gorgeous. I stamped the sunflower 3 times on Gina K luxury white, colored in copics, stamped the leaves a few times to cut out on put on pop ups, put stickles in the center. The design paper is memory box "Inspire" Used my Martha Steward punch for the butterflies, put some bling down the center of them. And used my nesties to cut out the ovals.

Well until next time,
Blessings
