You are on my mind

Good Morning all you fabulous card makers. I have been up since 6 am, that is early for me since I work second shift and do not go to bed until 2 am.  Usually I do not get up until 8 am. I am reading through the bible again, this will be my 12  plus time. One of my study bibles is held together with duck tape :). The bible has always been my favorite book to read, when I first began I was told by a pastor to write my name in front of verses to make it personnel, "Becky" Count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith works patience. From there I started color coding to make it easier to find subjects. I learn something new every time I read. The Word of God truly is the living Word.

Well once finished I decided to create this card for Our Daily Bread challenge "anything goes".

Dies:    ODB custom die for sentiment elegant oval, Spellbinders Fancy tags and large labels.
Other:   Prima flower.

Quiet Love

Hi all..Sure hope you all are doing well.

Well I have been a little creative this week :), I created these two cards for friends and challenges.. This first one is for Our Daily Bread challenge "needle it".

 

I seem to be addicted to 5X5 cards, just love the shape of them. Used Martha Steward pastels card stock, stamped ODB daffodil corner and used ODB Scripture series 1. Used a SU button and brad and paper pierced.

Next

This is for Flourishes challenge, "Your Birthday" what ever your birth month they have a list of what you have to use. Mine was for March, gems & die cuts. I stamped Botanical bookplates 2, used rhinestones and labels 4. The paper is from K&Co.

Our Daily Bread

Good morning. Can you believe it  is Wes. already. This is for "Our Daily Bread"
challenge - distress/paper/ink. I decided to do distressed paper. I just love ODB stamps and this is one from the scripture collection 2.

One night when I was in prayer I questioned the Lord of the power of prayer, I was lead to go out side and look up into the sky, it was a bright night and all the stars were shining, and I heard the Spirit say "with just a word" God spoke a word "let there be" and He created the heavens and the universe with just a word, now that is some glories power and it is still doing exactly what He called it to do, that is the power of my heavenly Father to work on our behalf, our problems may seem big to us but to our Father they are small and He is powerful enough to deal with anything in our lives, so we do not have a spirit of fear but a Spirit that loves us and because we believe this we have a sound mind, we have peace.
