Be Mine

Well we are getting ready to have a snow storm tomorrow. Snow will begin around 8 am with winds hitting 50 miles an hour, and will not stop until Thursday. When I left work tonight I told my boss I was not coming in tomorrow, he said He wasn't coming and most of the people already called out. So you know what I will be doing tomorrow on my day off...reading and playing with my stamps.
I just love house mouse images, they are some of the most adorable little creatures. I made this card for the stampin Sisters in Christ challenge, but when I got done I realized I could use it in several challenges .

3 Times the fun

The weather here was 45 plus on Thursday and on Friday it was below freezing with the wind chill factor. Thank goodness Feb is almost here because Spring is just around the corner. If you notice I do not do many "Winter Cards" my mind is always on Spring, Summer and Fall.
This card is for the "Stamp TV" sketch challenge. This card is a 5 1/2 by 51/2 square.

Stamp: This is my new set that just came in by Theresa Momber "Autumn Beauty" at Gina K and this stamp set is gorgeous. I stamped the sunflower 3 times on Gina K luxury white, colored in copics, stamped the leaves a few times to cut out on put on pop ups, put stickles in the center. The design paper is memory box "Inspire" Used my Martha Steward punch for the butterflies, put some bling down the center of them. And used my nesties to cut out the ovals.

Well until next time,
Blessings

Fabulous Friend

This is for the Flourishes timeless Tuesdays challenge. This is the first time I have tried one of their challenges, I get intimidated by all their fabulous cards over there. I made this one for my downstairs neighbor, the one who takes such good care of me. Tuesday night when I got home, (I get home around 1 am) She had a quilt bag filled with goodies. Roasted chicken, Yukon mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed peas, and for desert, chocolates. How can you not love a neighbor like that. She has become more of a big sister, I have no family up here in the North and God saw fit to move me over here from another town to be surrounded by some of His best people. How blessed am I....:).

Stamp: the flowers are from Lindy's stamp gang.
Paper : Gina K luxury white, I can not say enough about this paper, it is awesome, the pink is stamping up Pretty in Pink
Tools : nestibilities heart, gold embossing, colored with copics,
Used swiss folder and my cuttle bug, I love my cuttlebug. Half pearls.

All Things Are Possible

Well after the wind and rain we had yesterday today is a bright and sunny day. Feb is almost here which means Spring is just around the corner, yahoooooo.
This card is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge, 1Peter 1:23 "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God." We are to do something green, it was suppose to be just a touch, but I just got green happy :).
I have always loved this image, it reminds me of myself, how I may be getting old but how the Holy Spirit in me fills me with life, tho the body is wearing out my soul grows in wisdom and holiness. Oh how I love Jesus, because He first loved me. "I get a little excited sometimes" :)

In The Mix
Stamp: Thoughts of Father by Stamping Up
Paper: Papertrey summer sunshine, Gina K luxury white, the dp is from the dollar store :)
Stamped image onto Gina K Luxury white with Memento black tuxedo, colored with copics, cut out with nesties label 4, sponged with certain celery. Sentiment is computer generated.

Well that is it.

Praying for you

Many times people will say "I am praying for you" But do they really pray? Because if we were really praying we would see major changes. Look at James 5:16-18 to the secret of prayer.
"Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on on the land for 3 years and 6 months. Notice the words Effective, Fervent, Righteous.. We are a microwave society we want everything quick, hurry and fast. But real prayer takes real work. It is not throwing a few words up at God, Heal her, save her ect. It is coming to worship a King, coming with praises and thanks giving and then supplication, (to ask humbly of) . I pray that God would give His people a heart to pray.

Well this is for the Stamp TV color challenge, brown, white, and red. If you have never been over there check it out. Stamp TV is created by Gina K. she has step by step videos, many different challenges and the folks over there are absolute angels :).

What's In the Mix..
Stamp: Easter Blessing by Rupa Shevde at Gina K,
Paper: Gina K luxury white, design paper, and brown base is Stamping up. I know the brown looks a little greenish, but its brown. I have to learn to take better pictures and learn adobe better. :)
Stamped image with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with copics, used nesties, fancy tags.

Well until next time, "God Willing"

Thinking of you

Have you ever got so into your card that you forget what is going on around you? I was working on this card, decided I will run some water to do the dishes and as the water was running I figured I could take a quick min to do some touches to this card, well I got so into it I forgot I had the water running, all of a sudden I heard a noise and said to myself :) what the heck is that noise, I went into the kitchen and Lord behold the water was at the very tip of the sink almost ready to flow over onto the floor.. I caught it just in the nick of time, I have burned buns, food, etc. Am I the only one :)..?

Well this is for my Mojo Monday challenge.
stamp: Justrite, I gold embossed it and colored with copics
Paper: Gina K luxury white and the dp is stamping up.
