Safe In His Arms

Good Morning all.

Well I am off for 2 weeks, temp. layoff. We once had 4 buildings filled with people and programs and now we are down to 2 buildings and we are getting ready to close this one done and move to the one remaining. That means the company has layoff permanently  over   3000 people in the past 10 years.  Things are not looking good here in RI.

But, I know that my Father in Heaven will take care of me, I am safe in HIS ARMS, HE is the one who opens and closes doors, HE is the one who gives us favor, He is the one who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. The God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob is my Father, and what He did for them and their children He will still do today if we believe and trust HIM, we will be in perfect peace.

That is why I hopped on done to Newport to see my BF Karen yesterday to make cards :). We always have such a great time together, talking & creating. She has some great stuff and a very creative mind.

I made this card for the sketch challenge over at splitcoast stampers

And this is the one she made for my son

These cards was made with the Willington bear decoupage kit, and the card base is from SU. The time piece is from Tim Holtz.

Well that is it for me, remember me in your prayers. Hugs :)

You are on my mind

Good Morning all you fabulous card makers. I have been up since 6 am, that is early for me since I work second shift and do not go to bed until 2 am.  Usually I do not get up until 8 am. I am reading through the bible again, this will be my 12  plus time. One of my study bibles is held together with duck tape :). The bible has always been my favorite book to read, when I first began I was told by a pastor to write my name in front of verses to make it personnel, "Becky" Count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith works patience. From there I started color coding to make it easier to find subjects. I learn something new every time I read. The Word of God truly is the living Word.

Well once finished I decided to create this card for Our Daily Bread challenge "anything goes".

Items used:
Stamp: ODB Crocheted background, Flourished verses,
Ink:      ODB Terra Cotta
Dies:    ODB custom die for sentiment elegant oval, Spellbinders Fancy tags and large labels.
Other:   Prima flower.

Well that is it for me, I do pray all of you have a blessed week.

Thanks for stopping by and showing love, Hugs & Blessings :)

Stamp: ODB Harvest Blessing to you with matching dies, makes cutting a breeze :)

Hemmed In Prayer

Well Hello all.  I made this card for the challenge over at Our Daily Bread, "Stitch it." I just made it in the nick of time because the dead line is 6 pm to night..

This is an A2 card, and I used ODB Spool & Tape with the matching die, which makes crafting so easy. Colored with copics, added a button from SU.  The sentiment is from ODB "Wave in Faith."

One thing I have found to be true in this journey, is prayer. When things do not go right, problems with people, what ever it is, I do not let my emotions get the better of me, I go right to prayer and ask my Father "How should I look at this, how should I react, what is YOUR perfect will in this matter?" I always receive an answer and obey, in so doing I have been blessed with peace.  That is why I just love this sentiment from ODB, when we pray, we do not fall apart.

Well that is it for me today. I do pray that all of you have a Blessed week.

Well Good Morning all..  I do hope all of you are having a blessed week.   My week is so blessed because of all of you who stop by and leave me LOVE. It so blesses me  and encourages me when I stop by and visit you all and see the beautiful things you create that you would take the time to stop by here and leave such beautiful comments. Thank you.. Hugs :).

I made this card for the sketch challenge for Split Coast Stampers, hence the title, which is the stamp I used from House Mouse "Happy Windsday".

This is  a 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 card, this is a large stamp. The design paper is from DCWV Indian Summer and the leave from recollections. Colored with copics (still learning:).

Hello

Well Summer sure has blazed by.. The temps are already starting to fall. This has been the coolest Summer I can remember here in RI. The nights  during July & Aug. were cool, you needed a jacket.

I made this card for the sketch challenge over at "My Favorite Things".

I used the MFT blue print 15 & 13 dies. I love these things. I also used  special moments pop ups.

Well that is it for me, I have been on the phone for 2 hours with Dell, some how I lost my photo shop and had to use another program to crop this. looks a little washed out.

Have a Blessed week.

Good Morning my blogging friends. I do hope all of you had a fabulous weekend. It was beautiful here. It has been cool this summer but this weekend was one of the hottest days this summer. Sure hope that means a good Winter, no snow and not to much cold. But since God created all things included seasons for different regions of the world, it must be a blessing. :)

I made this card for Sweet  Sunday Sketch

For this card I used SU pumpkin Pie and black paper. The stamp is from Our Daily Bread "Harvest Blessings" with the matching die. Colored with copics.

Well that is it for me, until next time, Have a Blessed Day
