Be Anxious For Nothing

Good Morning all you wonderful blogging friends, it is going to be 51 degrees here in RI today, I am so excited. This has been one of the warmest winters I can remember.

I love this verse, God commands us not to be anxious, we should have peace, knowing that He knows our needs before we bring it to Him and when we do bring our needs we should also come with Thanksgiving, because God, our God, is loving, merciful & forgiving.

I made this card for "Mix it up Monday" at Gina K, create a pocket/envelope card, and it must have Red. This is the first time trying this pocket card.

Stamp TV Sketch

Good morning, Stamp TV is doing something new, Gina is using videos to do their sketch and color challenges, so much fun to match and really helps to motivate when you are low on mojo. :).

Last night I was speaking with some people who were trying to evict some tenants from their apts. They had lost their jobs and could not pay the rent, I do not know how it is where you live but here in RI the homeless rate has escalated because of loss of jobs and high rents. Families are living in cars, moving in with friends and family, right next store to me 3 families are living in a one family house and I think of how blessed I am to have a job for 30 years and how I can afford this hobby of making cards. God has been so good to me. Every time I want to grumble I think of all that is going on around me and I have nothing to complain about for I am blessed. I am not just blessed because I have a job, I am blessed because I have Christ, that no matter what happens He cares and will make a way for me. Christ is my joy whether I have or have not.

Thinking of You

This is for Stamp TV sketch challenge, it is Vickie's last week and I could not miss it. I am going to miss her over there, she does some great sketches.


As I was doing this card I was thinking this would be a great card to give to our heavenly Father. All of us who are His children can not help but to think on Him and about Him. How much He love's us and care's for us. How much we desire to be all that He has called us to be. How we weep when we fail and how we rejoice when we over come. May the Lord always be the center of our thoughts in all we do.

Wild Things

Is it me or are new releases coming out to fast or I am working to slow :)??
I just got this stamp set from Stamp TV by Melanie Muenchinger and already  new releases are out... This is a gorgeous set by Melanie and great sentiments in this set. I clear embossed this and sponged Tempting Turquoise all over this. Then mounted on to Gina K luxury white ( seriously heavy card stock). I know a lot of us like Georgia Pacific, but one thing I learned after getting Gina K...It takes ink better getting a better image when you are stamping and copics glide like melted butter on this paper.Used my fancy tag's, used  some tiny gems in the flowers and label.  Hope you like :).
