Stylish Blog

I have been honored  by Marsha with this lovely award. I must tell 8 things about myself.

1. I only drink fresh brewed coffee
2. I love Lipton tea 
3. My favorite snack is Total cereal and green grapes. (I know-I'm weird)
4. Because I work second shift, I stay in my pj's all day. :)
5. I have been readying my bible cover to cover for 25 years. I start in Gen. on New years night.
6. Because I am adopted I am still searching for my mother and brother.
7. One candy bar can last me a month.
8. I eat salad almost everyday,(as my main course).


Now I am going to change the rules a little, and pick 3 people to give this to.

Can we say "Happy" I just found out  my black and white was chosen for top 3,  at Really Reasonable Ribbons and another shining the light award from Our Daily Bread for my sun flowers..This sure does encourage me..:), just had to share ..

How sweet of Mary-Kate over at Emkay Designs to think of me, thank you Mary-Kate ;).
This is another one to tell 10 thinks about yourself then select 10 other blogger' s. Do I know 10 that does not already have this??

1. Tho I work second shift 4pm to 12:30 am, I am up by 8 am, I love the mornings and do not want to waste a min of life.
2. I have died my hair every color Clairol has and now that it is grey I do not color it at all :).
3. In my younger years I sang on 2 albums "Black Rock" and 3 songs on a gospel "Community Baptist choir"
4. I love technology but hate cell phones, you can not have a decent conversation with some one because their phone is always ringing. Yes I own a cell phone but never answer if I am speaking with some one, they can wait.
5. I have lived in RI, Ct, Va, Tn, Fla, Germany and Naples Italy.
6. I did not speak English until I was 6 years old, and no I can not speak my native tongue-German.
7. I have no brothers or sisters.
8. I almost died last Summer due to a Thyroid condition that kept me out of work and in bed for 4 months
9. I have read my bible cover to cover over a dozen times, and still read it daily.
10. I pierced my nose when I was 18 and let it close when I was 30.

I love blog awards!! I was so excited when Christy notified me about it a few min. ago that I had to hurry and put it up :). She had to give 10 things that made her happy and 5 pieces of trivia about herself, It was great learning things about her, especially that she is my sister in Christ. 5. I love ice-cream, (that is why I do not buy it) :).

Happy 101

I just received this from Mary Anne/Ma54K , I am so honored that she would think about me. Thank you Mary Ann. Now the rules for this award is to tell you 10 things about myself.

1. I am adopted
2. I have never watched TV except at family and friends, I own one but no reception, no cable, or antenna.
3. I have been at my job for 30 years
4. I am divorced
5. I have 7 son's, 6 have gone home to be with the Lord.
6. My favorite color changes :), lavender, light greens, deep blues
7. I sung solo on 3 cuts of an album for gospel music. (In my younger years)
8. I am Pentecostal, (spiritual gifts)
9. I study the bible 6 days a week. Have read the bible cover to cover over 30 times in 30 years.
10. I love coffee, fried chicken and baked macaroni and cheese. :) coffee I drink daily 2 cups but the rest maybe once or twice a year..

I received this award from Grace over at Think of You, She notified me on the 4th, where did the time go :). She is one sweet and talented sister of mine (in Christ) :). Holly also graced me with this award this morning, if you need a smile on your face you need to go check her out.

I just received this wonderful award from Grace for doing what I do :). Loving Christ my savior and sharing him in the things that I create.
