Mojo Monday 222

Well it has been along while since I have done a Mojo Monday challenge.. I have enjoyed my vacation, we get a  week out of work for Christmas, we are due back tomorrow :)..

I won this paper last year from the Craft's Meow,  a long with matching goodies. I used the Fancy tags #3.

I am also entering this for The Old Back Porch .

Missing You

I Just love this stamp set "Feathered Friends" by Stamping Up, so many wonderful stamps come in this set. I remember a time when people used to write letters, today every emails. I am still in the habit of writing letters even when I am sending a card. One of the reasons I stay away from certain challenges is I do not like to waste my time and energy on something I will not use or will not give away. The whole purpose for me getting into card making is that when I wrote letters I wanted a special card to go with it when I mailed it out. My favorite challenges is sketch and colors. This is my MO JO Monday sketch Challenge
I stamped this on Gina K luxury white cut out with nesties, the card is Gina K pure luxury Creme de Menthe, colored with copics.

Thinking of you

Have you ever got so into your card that you forget what is going on around you? I was working on this card, decided I will run some water to do the dishes and as the water was running I figured I could take a quick min to do some touches to this card, well I got so into it I forgot I had the water running, all of a sudden I heard a noise and said to myself :) what the heck is that noise, I went into the kitchen and Lord behold the water was at the very tip of the sink almost ready to flow over onto the floor.. I caught it just in the nick of time, I have burned buns, food, etc. Am I the only one :)..?

Rest

Well it is Friday!! yahoo. The week goes by fast but the weekend goes by even faster.. Isn't it wonderful to know that if we keep Jesus first in our life we will have rest/peace, no matter how fast days go, no matter how hectic, no matter the troubles He cares so much for us, that He is only a breath away "Prayer" and when we stay focused on Him, we stay less focused on self.

These are the things we should be doing...

I have a busy weekend, our church has scheduled a work day for 6 weeks and every week they had to cancel because of rain. So this weekend my pastor said rain or shine please come, so I am on the work crew for tomorrow morning 9 am, mind you I do not get home until 1 am and go to bed around 2 am I am usually up around 8 am but I lounge around.. not run around power washing buildings, painting, gardening, mowing :), I'm going to need a lot of coffee. But it is the house of God and His house should look better then anyone Else's :) .

I finally finished my Mojo sketch challenge and SC color (red and blue). This card is a 6x5 1/2 the stamp is from Unity and the design paper is S.e.i used nesties and MS punches.
