Is Summer Here Yet?

Is Summer here yet?? We have been having thunder storms for 2 weeks, a couple hours of sunshine. I still have my electric blanket on at night it is so cold. And I am sitting here with my fleece robe on over my cloths and have on socks because my feet are cold :). This is July right??
Well I just love this stamp by SU "thoughts of my father" even though I do not have one to give it to, I love the images , I wish they had another sentiment to go with this. This is for the sketch challenge at Paper planet. I used SU pacific point, and the design paper is DCWV "Nanas Nursery". Used my nesties for the circles. I love my nesties.
Has any one been checking out Flourishes? If you are interesting in copics, they have set the best groups of colors to buy, and are having tutorials on how to use them, This is how I bought mine. I can not wait until they get here :). Well as you can see I have cleaned up some things on my blog, I created a second page to put all the blogs I like to visit, and all of my shopping spots :).

True Love

Every one looks for True Love, Even God...
This is for my sketch challenge for Paper Craft Planet, The quote is from Jonathan Edwards, I used no stamps, can you imagine!! This is Basic Grey design paper, Martha Steward butterfly punch, and nesties . I am very busy, I have volunteered to do tags for my girl friend to go with blankets she is making for the mothers in her church, she asked me to write a poem, which I did called "The Covering" but cutting out 30 tags, coloring and designing is a lot of work :), but she is my best friend and it is a labor of love. (but I wont do this again :) Then I have to do my challenge for my Secret Sister..Have a Blessed Day.

Be Still And Know That I Am God

My most memorial times, my most peaceful of times is when I am in the country with no houses for miles, seeing rolling mountains, wide open fields with wild flowers dancing in the wind. It is there that the awesomeness of God is so present. His power overwhelming, His creation breathtaking. It is there that I have learned PS 46:10"To stand still and know He is God"

God's Glory

Psalms 19:1 says "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork." When ever I do nature scenes this verse always comes to my mind, that the universe and all that is in the earth is God's art work, He is the originator of colors, He is the originator of all creations. What a mighty God we serve.
