Missing You

Good Morning my blogging friends.  Well, wasn't I surprised this morning when I found out I was picked "Chic of the week # 241" over at Just Us Girls. For the color challenge card I created. Then I went over to House Mouse and found out I won the blog candy from America. So my weekend is beginning GREAT.. :)

I created this card for Our Daily Bread, sketch challenge.

In Due Season

Good Morning.. I do hope all of you had a great weekend.  You know May is National prayer month and on May 1st it was raining here. Well when I looked out into my garden which right now are mainly daffodils, they were all bowed down over like they were praying, I wish I had taken a photo of them, I know, it was raining and this happens, it just was cool that it happened on the first day of May, the first day of prayer :).

Well I made this card for "Word Art Wednesday" anything goes.

The verse came from Word Art, as a freebee, cut out with labels 22 and mounted onto labels 4. I used Sizzix Garden lattice, that I got for half price with my coupon at Micheal's. The butterflies from recollections.

I created this card for the Word Art challenge, anything goes. I decided to do a CAS card by using SU Easter Blossoms & coloring with copics. The verse is free over at Word Art.

Fruit of the Spirit

Good Morning! 

I am playing the Word Art Wednesday challenge today. "anything goes" she also supplies a new verse to use if you like. I decided to use the verse. Galatians 5:22 Fruit of the Spirit.

This is a A2 card, I used Georgia Pacific paper and the design paper is Prima. I cut out some circles and made the flowers and the flourish die is by Marrianne.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. The Holy Spirit is like the tree of life and I am a branch on that tree. This tree produces only these fruits, so I also should be producing these fruits, if I am not, then I need to get into some serious prayer and see why I am not producing these.

Oh I forgot.. :) I won the prize for  last weeks challenge at Word Art Wed.

Be Still

Good Morning! Well it is time for another "Word Art Wednesday" challenge, where we share the WORD of God.

Be still and know that I am God..

That does seem to be the problem with us when going through trials, being still. Some years ago on Christmas Eve there was a terrible snow storm, my mothers car would not start and I had to travel 40 miles with my baby son in tow to give her battery a charge, it was 1 am. I got her car started and on the way home my car died, as I sat there on Christmas Eve without a car in sight I asked God, "what am I going to do?" I got out of the car and stood there as the snow was coming down and my son asleep inside, and stood still and said "Father, bring me help". I stood there believing that God would help me. within 10 min. a tow truck comes around the corner and stops, tow's us home with no charge.

I prayed

Good Morning All..It is time for Word Art Wednesday, Just stop by to pick up the Word Art which is a different scripture to glorify God.

I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. 

Being adopted, I had prayed for flesh of my own flesh, I wanted a child more then anything. The Lord blessed me with 7 boys, six of which He took home and one He left, who is now 34 years old. When I lost my first I was devastated, he lived for 6 weeks before dieing, they were all premature, except for Will (my son). He was the 5th. But for some reason by the second I had a understanding of not losing children but God raising them Himself, I knew when I leave this earth they would all be waiting for me when I come home. I lost my last son June of 1980. I was blessed with joy and peace knowing I have (not had), 7 sons, and one day we will all be together.

Word Art Wednesday

Good morning.. Well let me tell you, coming home Monday night was a fright. I left work at 12:30 am and the snow was coming down so fast you could barely see. Traffic was going 30 in a 55 . I just prayed and asked my Father to protect me and get me home safely, I had no doubt He heard me and had perfect peace as I continued to drive home. This morning was 50 degrees :)..I just love New England weather..

I Will Follow

Good Morning all my fabulous blogging friends! I do pray that your New Year is starting off blessed. As some of you may know I have stepped down from SSIC. I have a lot on my plate and my creative juices just are not flowing as they once were. But to ensure I do not fall by the way side I joined "Word Art Wednesday" Cassandra does the word art and we just create from there, very easy for me since there is no challenge but to create with the scripture she has created.
So here is the first...

I pray I could be as faithful to Christ as Ruth was with Naomi. To go where He leads, to do as He commands. That has always been my new year's resolution, to be more like Christ and less of myself.

Glory to God

Good Morning. I am still trying to figure out how to set up my crafting space since I have moved, still rearranging because once it is done it is done, so I am taking my time.  In the mean time I decided to do the challenge at a new Christian blog I found "Word Art Wednesday"  Her challenge was to use the free digi sentiment.
