Enough of Winter!

Good Morning all. Well I do hope you have been warm and safe.  Here in RI it is freezing. My pipes froze up earlier this week, and it is a good thing we have a maintenance  guy here because it cost me all of 40 dollars for him to shovel and get a bullet under my house to defrost my pipes. Thank you Jesus. :). We will be having a heat wave for 2 days 30 degrees and then back to 0 tempts next week.  I have had enough of Winter!! I will be so grateful for Spring..

I made this card for Our Daily Bread color inspiration.

This stamp is from ODB, Life is a gift. I gold embossed it twice.

Then I mad this for the House Mouse Challenge, Friends.

This stamp is from House Mouse, Wheel Bearrow..  Yes I know the pearls are not straight, It is on purpose :).

Well that is it for me today, You all have a blessed week.

I Love The LORD

Good Morning Blogging Friends.. Well more snow is on the way here in RI, to night into Sat and then another storm on Sunday. I pray it will by pass Tiverton :)..

Well I had time yesterday and made this card for Our Daily Bread sketch challenge.

I Love the Lord, I so love this verse. When I wake I begin my prayer
by telling HIM how much I love HIM and how much I want to Love HIM with all my Heart, Soul & Mind. I love HIM because HE first loved me, a creature filled with sin, weighed down in darkness and HE reached HIS to me and filled me with HIS presence, Love & Mercy.   There is a hymn I learned early in my walk with HIM and I still sing today; OH how I love JESUS, because HE first loved me.

I am also entering this in Word Art Wednesday "anything goes."

Receipe:
paper: Recollection 100 lb black base, design paper was a gift..??:)
Stamp:  Scripture collection #6 by ODB
Dies: Quatrefoil pattern by ODB, memory box pearl lace, spellbinders label 14
Other: the cross is from Jolee's

To God Be The Glory

Good morning all.
Well it has been a busy week for me, I worked yesterday Sat. with only 2 hours of sleep and working with 8 men. One reminded the others that I do not like profanity used in my presence and as the conversation went on the statement came up "that God is a women". I told them that is false, that God was a man. Then one proceeded to tell me he has never read that and that he doesn't know what translation I have been reading. I told him I have read every translation and I read daily, I strongly lead him & the others through a few verses stating that God is called father and HE... Which turned the conversation into salvation, they stated they are all going to hell with the rest of their friends and I told them how foolish, you will never see your friends because hell is total darkness, total separation,  continuous suffering, No hope of getting out. Their only hope is now, why they are alive, to except Jesus Christ as their Lord and redeemer.
I do not believe in coincidences, I believe God chose that day and that moment for these men to hear the gospel. I pray the words of the Lord penetrated their souls. To God Be The Glory..

Well I did have some time to create a few cards for some challenges. :)

I made this for Splitcoast stampers, try a new technique-down under.  I used recollections white and Authentique design paper. and a small spellbinders heart & curve dies. The verse is from Our Daily Bread Scripture collection #7. This card was also picked as a weekly favorite at Splitcoast stampers :)..

This is for House mouse Challenge, love is in the air. This is one of the stamps I won from HM challenge. The sentiment is from the dollar bin at Micheal's.

And this card I made for Our Daily Bread, chose a color challenge.
The die is a custom die from ODB "eternity". ODB Asters & leaves, I am in love with this die, can't you tell..

Well that is it for me.  I pray all of you will have a blessed week.

Well The Weather Outside is Frightful!

Good Morning everyone. Well they cancelled work today, really? I was not going to come in anyway. As of 1 pm it was still snowing here and they were saying we were getting another 10 inches of snow, on top of the 2 feet we already got :).. But praise GOD, we have not lost electric..  I was out early this morning shoveling, and finally gave up and hired a neighbor who  had a snow blower. And he cleaned my roof all for 30 dollars :)..

Well, in the mean time I created this card for Our Daily Bread challenge, anything goes.

I seem to be in love with this die by ODB Asters & leaves, I have used it often and I used the Pennant swag stamp and matching die by ODB. So cute. Then used a flourish die to finish it.

Well that is it for me, back out to clean off my porch.

I am always so Thankful to you all who stop by and leave comments, it sure helps to keep me encouraged. :)

First Post of 2015

Good Morning all!  Hope you all are feeling well and staying warm.

THOUGHTS:  I was thinking about New Year resolutions, how we always want to change things we do for the New Year; well we should treat each new day that way, for we may not have a tomorrow.

Psalm 39:4
"Show me, LORD, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.

I created this card for Our Daily Bread sketch challenge.

I used ODB Asters & leaves die using ODB Blooming Garden collection papers, I also used ODB Crocheted circle die to mount it on. Used cuttle bug swiss dots and ribbon from Papertrey (spring Moss).

Then I created this card for the House Mouse Challenge (Sketch)
5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card,  House Mouse stamp (Tails of True Love) colored with copics and used cuttlebug embossing folders. The design paper is part of  a win I received  from America Kuhn.

Well that is it for me, Thank you for coming  by. You all have a Blessed weekend.

Merry Christmas

Well I am back and I sure missed you all. Even though I have not been crafting I have been stopping by leaving love.

I  have an add on room that was built way before I bought this place and it was an eye sore and an ice box in the Winter, even with a space heater in there I would freeze, so I had to close it off during the Winter and drag some things into the dinning room. I should have taken photos of the before they started, but I was to excited to get it done to think of it. I had new wood, thick insulation, siding and 5 windows done. Now this room is warmer then any other room in the house, with no space heater.

On top of having this done, I had cataract surgery done on both of my eyes. I had the right one done the week of Thanksgiving and the left one this Monday. Boy! can I see well, and with no glasses except for fine print.

So I have been very blessed this year.

I was up bright and early this morning and created this card for Our Daily Bread sketch challenge.

I used ODB Quatrefoil pattern die and ODB stamp & die set "Peace & Joy".  The paper is DCWV glitzy glitter.

I am also entering this for Word Art Wednesday "anything goes".

What a wonderful time of the year to remember Christ, the redeemer of the world and our only hope. No greater gift could we ever receive.

I pray all of you have a wonderful Christmas.
God Bless you all.

Hemmed In Prayer

Well Hello all.  I made this card for the challenge over at Our Daily Bread, "Stitch it." I just made it in the nick of time because the dead line is 6 pm to night..

This is an A2 card, and I used ODB Spool & Tape with the matching die, which makes crafting so easy. Colored with copics, added a button from SU.  The sentiment is from ODB "Wave in Faith."

One thing I have found to be true in this journey, is prayer. When things do not go right, problems with people, what ever it is, I do not let my emotions get the better of me, I go right to prayer and ask my Father "How should I look at this, how should I react, what is YOUR perfect will in this matter?" I always receive an answer and obey, in so doing I have been blessed with peace.  That is why I just love this sentiment from ODB, when we pray, we do not fall apart.

Well that is it for me today. I do pray that all of you have a Blessed week.

Our Labor is not in Vain

Good Morning all you fabulous bloggers. I do hope your 4th was fabulous. It down poured here in RI, but I still had a great day :).

I created this card for Our Daily Bread challenge "red, white & blue".
I do love how this turned out, I am finding I love doing CAS cards and love a lot of white. I used Recollections heavy weight card stock, love this for the base, then I used fancy borders and spellbinders stars. The scripture comes from Our Daily Bread "Serve the Lord". The round flag and bling comes from K&Company.

My card from last week won "The shinning the light award" I am so excited, makes me think I am doing a some what good job on creating cards :)

The verse 1 Co 15:38, Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, I learned early on in my Christian walk that this means more then "Sunday School teachers, choir, or any other ministry of church. It also means the works of love, mercy, the daily grind of life, the raising up of children is a ministry, our job's are a ministry, our enemies are a ministry. Our whole life from the rising of the sun to the going down is a ministry. As long as Christ lives in us we live to labor for HIS kingdom in all that we do or say.

Well that is it for me,  You all have a Blessed Day.
