Good Morning, it is time again for another SSIC challenge. Linda is our host today and she has chosen -
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Her challenge: Use something you treasure on your card - whether it be bling, flowers, something new or have been saving for a long time - show us your treasures!
Our sponsor is Simon Says Stamps, and the prize is "Cat Dog best of friends set".
Insight: By Warren Wiersbe
Materialism will enslave the heart (Matt. 6:19-21), the mind (Matt. 6:22-23), and the will (Mt 6:24). We can become shackled by the material things of life, but we ought to be liberated and controlled by the Spirit of God. If the heart loves material things, and puts earthly gain above heavenly investments, then the result can only be a tragic loss. The treasures of earth may be used for God. But if we gather material things for ourselves, we will lose them; and we will lose our hearts with them. Instead of spiritual enrichment, we will experience impoverishment.
In other words: Whether you are a preacher on the pulpit or a singer in the choir or a Sunday school teacher,if you do great a wonderful things for people; if we do not obey the Lord, all our works are in vain!
I do not own a lot of crafting materials outside of stamps and nesties, which I use regularly. But I did have these flowers I had won on a blog hop that I have been saving for a while. :)
The scripture is from Our Daily Bread, embossing folder from cuttle bug.
Have a Blessed Day
Rebekka

This is a lovely card tonight Rebekka.
Beautiful card and I love the verse. You make the prettiest cards using verses from our Bible.

This is so pretty, love your flower too, and the scripture is perfect. Thank you for blessing yet again xx
Neat thoughts to share from Warren Wiersby and I wondered when I saw your card if that flower might have been something from a stash that was waiting for an occasion such as this to bloom! It is lovely as is the verse. Very pretty.
Beautiful card Becky! Cute flower, and I love that embossing folder too and how you have circle cut out in the middle. I don't have many Scripture stamps, but I think I "need" to invest in some. Not hoarding... investing in the things above! =) Have a blessed week.
Beautiful flower, Rebekka. I find it's sometimes a challenge to locate great flowers.
Becky, your work is beautiful and it was a pleasure spending time browsing through your blog. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and entering my blog candy.

Hey Becky, this is such a pretty card, I love the simple elegance of your cards. And the touch of pink flower is so pretty.
I just love the sketch you used for this and may have to case it! Wonderful verse also!
I love the two circles being offset and the diagonal embossing line - GREAT job on this card Becky - really!
Becky, I am always amazed at how AMAZING you make CAS look! There is nothing wrong with not having a lot of embellishments, when you do have too much (like me, but shhh, don't tell anyone ;D) you so very easily forget what you've got. The scripture you chose is awesome and so is that beautiful flowers you've added!! Have a blessed week!! Hugs, Sabrina
