Our Birthday Blog Hop starts today at the Stampin Sisters In Christ blog! You will want to start there and follow along. There are many blessings along the way, along with chances to win prizes. I hope you join us as we celebrate our one year of sharing our love for Christ. Plus there is a chance to win a $50 dollar gift certificate to the sponsor of your choice.
The challenge is to pick your favorite scripture...I have so many, but this one I love because it reminds me the power my mouth has, to hurt, cut, wound or to up lift, edify, sooth and comfort. It makes me think before I speak or react.

Rebekka, what a super card to bring out the message in that verse. she cracks me up. AND I always wondered what I would look with red hair and in a bathing suit. Now I know!!!! LOL
Hello Rebekka - what a great card to illustrate this scripture - I can just imagine the words out of that mouth - only encouraging of course! This is fabulous Rebekka!! Thanks for sharing!! God bless you! {{{hugs}}}
I love this card, it is so perfect and I so agree about what our mouths can do, need to sit and think before speaking. Thank you again for reminding me, your inspiration and of course your awesome cards.
Maxine's image is perfect for the Bible verse...you can just see her spewing a tale of gossip about some poor victim....

Oh yes, the little tongue that has such power to either edify or tear down. Thank you for the reminder and God bless you Becky.
Great card love your colours and the offset panel. Your image choice is so fitting to your chosen quote. Me thinks she would have a sharp tongue!
You're so right on! The tongue is soooo powerful! I think it's wonderful that God is using us and our words today to bless others! I've been so incredibly blessed along this hop today! Your card is so fun! I'm so glad you chose to make a fun card! Blessings!

Thank you SO much for your amazing comment on my blog!!!! Made me smile!!!! I hope you are having a very blessed day!!
What a great reminder to watch our words. Our pastor yesterday was encouraging us to give our kids a tube of toothpaste and to have them see if they could squeeze all of it out and then when they had it all squeezed out to then have them put it back in the tube. Then take the time to explain to them how once words are spoken they can not be taken back.
What an adorable card! I love it and I truly love what you had to share. Isn't it amazing what power the words we share are!
Great reminder, Rebekka, to think before I open my mouth! I love how you've presented it with this lady who looks like a character. Hopefully, she's bragging about her grandkids as she sits on the beach. :D
BTW-I love the name of your blog. We are all so diamonds in the rough.
Hugs, Laurie

Cute card, and what a wonderful reminder to each and everyone of us of the power we have to either tear others down or build them up. And the choice is given to us every day.
Love the image that you've used, fits perfectly with the verse but adds a softening touch of humour. :o)
the image makes the scripture more light hearted, but all the same it is taken to heart! GREAT job!

Wow! you are so creative! What a fun card to get such a serious point and Scripture across. I was told, "Garbage in...Garbage out!" To mean that what is taken in from gossip, TV, or books etc... often comes flying out of people's mouths!
I love this super bright, wonderful card! Your coloring is so great!
Remember~

Love your card!!! What a gift of joy your gave us today with your side-splitting card. Lord, we are so responsible for the words that come out of our mouths. The Lord has brought to my mind lately what I learned from Don Gossett's book, "What you say is what you get". Basically what he shares is God created the world with His words. He created us in His image........our words have the same power. If I can just remember that each time I open my mouth!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hugs and blessings,
Cathy
What a wonderful pairing of image and verse! This is one of the first verses I memorized, and yet one of the hardest to remember in daily life. Thank you for the reminder -- I truly needed it today.
hehe... that image is so funny. You paired it with the perfect scripture.
Oooooooooo, this is sooooo adorable! What a perfect pair. The sentiment should be kept on everyone's bathroom mirror as a reminder each morning! :) hugz, Mary
