Hi all.
This is my last week out of work. As some of you know those of us who have senior years took a temporary layoff to save the less senior people. By senior I mean we who took it had 35 years to 40 years employment verses the young crowd who had only 2 to 4 years. But we are all being called back to work for Monday. And we senior folks have decided we will not do this any more. I feel bad for these newer people in that many bought homes when they were hired, and our company is down sizing big time. From 4 buildings to one.. I have 6 more years before I can retire, I pray I make it, if not, I know My Father has a plan laid out just for me. So I have total peace. I do not know how the world can live without Jesus, I do know that my life has been so sweet with HIM, through all my trials I have had peace in knowing HE loves me and has a plan for me and I am so grateful HE saved me.
I made this card for My Favorite Things sketch challenge. I used their blue print 13 & 8 dies. I love these things. :)
This is an A2 card, I used SU Pacific point paper and my minds eye design paper. The rest are the dies from MFT. Each set has about 10 plus dies so I decided to use only the dies and no stamps for this sketch.
OK, that is it for me, I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

I know you'll be anxious to get back to work now. So sad to see companies having to downsize!

I enjoyed reading your testimony, and am encouraged by it. Like you I don't know how people live without Jesus.

Glad you are headed back to work. I got laid off early but it has worked out and I have loved every minute...So, leave it in the lords hands and it will all work out!

Becky,
I took early retirement. It was such a hard decision for me but once I let go and trusted God I had a peace about it. I love being retired and although I don't have the extras that my larger paycheck provided, I do have a peace that I never had when I worked. I know that God will also carry you through these rough times.
I love your card and always fell inspired with your blog!
What a beautiful layout of this sweet card of friendship.
I will continue to pray for your company and all the families impacted by their decisions. Especially, you, my friend.
Love the sweet designer paper.
I've been keeping you in my prayers since you posted about your work situation and was happy to read your update.
