I just want to know, Where is Spring!! We had more snow last night the ground is covered and there was over 2 inches of snow on my car last night when I got out of work. I do hope this means we will have a long and fabulous Summer :).
I made this card for Our Daily Bread challenge "Spring has Sprung" needless to say, nothing was going right with this card. I just got a few new Spellbinders, one of which is "radiant rectangles" and let me tell you, after an hour of working with this set with shims on top of shims I do not think I will be using them again. They just do not cut even for anything! So I just went with Sizzix embossing folder :).
The stamp is from ODB "Happy Easter".
Well I do hope all of you are warm and having a Blessed Day

Beautiful card, Becky. Lovely daffodil and embossing folder.
Sorry you got snow again. It was in the 70's here in AL last weekend but considerably cooler this weekend. UGH!
I've found that some of my intricate dies don't do well with my Cuttlebug and have to use my Grand Calibur but sometimes still have to shim and turn a few times. It is a bit maddening.
Oh no Becky, don't give up the folder is too beautiful! Your card is just glorious! Love the beautiful daffodil! Take heart, snow is coming on Monday too!
What a stunning card Becky!! I just love the white embossing and the yellow against the white!! Stunning Easter card!!
Thanks for joining us at the ODBD Shining the Light challenge!!
blessings and hugs,
Chris
Becky, Spring is down here in Texas!!! Come on down!
Stunning card! Love the embossing folder and that image is perfect for it. So lovely.

Lovely springtime card with beautiful embossing. Hoping your see a warming trend soon!
Your card turned out beautiful! It IS frustrating when we have an idea that doesn't pan out as we had imagined... My Mom used to say, "Try, try, and try again!" I can still hear her!
The embossing folder made the perfect borders, and the dafodil with that blessing say it well. I REALLY like this card!
Beautiful card. We are suppose to get snow here tomorrow and Sunday. So that might be something you get headed your way too next week. I am tired of it too.
Pretty card...and it really does make me think of spring!
Oh, Becky, I'm so glad I found time to stop by. Your card is fabulous! An absolute stunner, my friend! I'm having issues with the new Spellbinders Dies, too. Takes forEVER to get one panel! We had snow, too. It was so pretty :) Take care, and have a great weekend!
Becky, I'm just back from Disney where I found spring and your beautiful card is bound to bring spring to NE soon!
Beautiful card Becky!
Beautiful! Such an elegant card with a most wonderful message :) Love the beauty of your card, Becky! xoxo
Beautiful easter card.
luv

We want to know Beckky on this side of the world who stole Autumn? It has been replaced with HOT and sticky humidity - I hope Spring finds out where it needs to go quickly.
I have noticed with your cards that you often use crisp white and your cards are so beautifully clean. Today's is lovely!
The embossing is just lovely to showcase your pretty flower!
I had the same problem with some of my spellbinder dies that are more intricate, the thing that worked for me is to get a new B plate for my cuttlebug, I don't know what machine you use to cut your dies but I layer my cuttlebug plates A, B, image I am cutting, die side down, with C plate on top and that seemed to work, hope that gives you something new to try. If not I would contact spellbinders, I am sure they want happy customers and would be willing to help you out. Good Luck
Your gorgeous daffodil and embossing on stunning on this sensational Easter design, Rebekka!
What a VERY pretty card!!! Love your daffodil....Shouts SPRING!!!! ;)
Lovely Becky! I just got to see a tone of these are the botanical garden I visited. They are such a beautiful flower. Those pretty die cuts really dress up your card front. :-) Hugs!
Pretty card Becky. Love the embossing and the yellow daffodil really stands out against the white.
Very pretty, love the embossing!
Stunning card Becky - love the way the daffodil curves with the embossing.
I found that I also had difficulty with some of the SB intricate dies, and I think a lot of it was that my B plate is warped - I need to replace it.
Blessings
Maxine
Becky, try placing a sheet of wax paper between the die and cardstock and see if that helps.
This card is absolutely gorgeous. I love the wonderful embossing and beautiful coloring.
very pretty dear Becky,
luv
Claudia
Your card is gorgeous Becky with the embossed background. I recently purchased some new Spellbinder dies, but not the radiant rectangles.
Hello Lovely Lady, I am so sorry I have neglected you lately. I don't ever seem to have enough time..or I am getting slower...lol
I have been looking back and what gorgeous Easter cards you have created. This one is Beautiful I love the freshness it has, and the message is perfect.
I use Waxed Paper between Dies and card and it works everytime now.
Huge Hugs Mau xx
SO pretty!! The daffodil really pops amid the white (just like our daffodils in the snow!!!)
Do youi have a thin metal plate such as is sold by Cheery Lynn dies? I find it essential for cutting intricate dies - place it between my A & C plates at the bottom of the sandwich. I haven't needed to use it with any Spellbinders so if you do try it take care it isn't too thick (would hate you to break your Bug :( ).I finally replaced both B plates at the beginning of January but already the new ones are marked and warped - I am rotating them each time to stop them bending like a banana but now I have S shaped plates instead...
You may have snow, but your card says SPRING! Our daffodils are in bloom right now. I love seeing them, and look forward to warmer weather.
SO pretty Becky - love the daffodil against the bright white (just like our daffodils in the snow :( )
Have you tried a thin metal plate such as Cheery Lynn Dies sell to use between your A & C plates at the bottom of the sandwich? I find it essential for cutting intricate thin dies like Memory Box, but I haven't used it with Spellbinders so be careful in case it makes the sandwich too thick for the Bug.
Gorgeous card and I just love the embossing folder you used!! (even if it was a 2nd plan). Don't give up on the radiant rectangles... for intricate dies, I used a piece of wax paper between the die and card stock. Some people even say 2 pcs of wax paper, but I've always had good luck with just the 1. The wax paper will make popping out the cut so easy. Then the issue of using shims... when I used a cuttlebug I had a thin metal plate that they sell ... to use under the die so the die is cutting against the metal. It makes ALL the difference I think. I'm not sure what machine you have, but the metal plate can be used in any of them. Either cuttlebug or spellbinders sells the plates... can't remember off the top of my head. Anywayyyyy.... your daffodil is so pretty. They are my favorite spring flower and a lot of mine are up and blooming. I feel lucky they survived our winter blast this past weekend when we got down to 22 one night.
Becky, each and every card you make amazes me! They are all works of art and so beautiful!!! You truly have a God-given gift!
I KNOW! Spring has not sprung. Still had snow today! But luckily it did not stick!
Such BEAUTY!!~
Just popped by to wish you Easter Blessings Becky. Have a lovely weekend.

Wishing you a blessed Easter!
Absolutely stunning!!! Happy Easter!!!
Its funny you are asking where is spring while we here on the other side of the world are asking where is autumn, although the early hours of this morning has shown some crispness in the air.
Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers and heralds spring for me, your card is so elegant with the beautiful embossing down each side framing the wonderful image and sentiment. Wishing you a Happy Easter and hoping that Spring arrives for you soon! xx
