Good morning.. Before I begin I just want to share a serious pet peeve!! Music on the blogs. I am ready to just scream...I am one of those people who has 20 to 30 tabs open to comment, and how sad to hear 7 or 8 blogs with music going that I can not listen to so I shut off my own sound where I can not even enjoy my own music. Maryilynn Degroot has one of the best ideas I have seen, she has placed U-Tube on her post's for people to play and hear, how novel is that! Which of coarse I can not even hear what she has because of the other 7 or 8 blaring their own music. From Christian, to rock, to country to easy listening, all of them playing at the same time..where you can not enjoy anything while on line.
My goodness I wish they would just out law these dang gone things on the blogs..This is just my opinion, which I have a right to have!!
Now on to my card :)..
This is for Speedy the Fox challenge #95, create a joy fold card. I got this fold from Beate, at Splitcoast Stampers. I made this as a birthday card for a friend who is turning 75 tomorrow.

I agree about the music! Wish there was an option on blogger that would give us a choice about listening or blocking music if we prefer. Right now, our only option is to mute the sound on our computers.

I'm the same way as you about the music on blogs....I have my vol. turned all the way down all the time now and that way I don't hear it so it no longer bothers me. Just one of my deals as I still love looking at all the blogs!

Becky, your card is just gorgeous! I love the bit of stickles - adds just the right amount of sparkle! Oh my, as for the music, I tend to only open one tab at a time as my connection is pretty slow, so that's not an issue for me. I actually enjoy many of the blogs with music. However, I can sure see how it might be for someone with several tabs opened at once! My pet peeve is the comment verification word scrambling. I think Blogger has changed their scrambling, and it's SO difficult to read. At times, I will type a comment three or four times, trying to get the code in their right, and finally just give up and leave the wonderful blog. Okay, now we have both vented...lol! Hugs, sweetie - have a nice evening.
I'm not a fan of music on blogs either. I usually scroll down and find the player and pause it. your card is just gorgeous Becky. Love the design and the paper you used.

Hello Becky! I have to say I share your opinion about the music on the blogs. Sometimes, if I don't realize my volume is pretty high, and then I open a blog with music streaming, it scares me off my chair.

You go right ahead and vent. We all have something. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous swan with us. I have one real one left on the lake. He was able to stay all winter due to the warm temps. Boy is he fat! All he does is dive and eat weeds.

Beautiful card. I totally agree about the music on blogs. I usually turn my sound off just because of it. But every now and then I forget to turn off the speakers and then the music annoys me and make me want to close that blog page. It also takes up more time and computer space because the computer to working to load the music.

Great touch with the stickles! Swans are such a lovely bird. I have to admit I do get annoyed with music on blogs. I forget my sound is up and scare myself and everyone else around me!
