Good Sunday Morning! It is time for a new "Stampin Sisters In Christ Challenge". My wonderful sister Peggy Sue is the hostess and she has chosen, Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God.
Be Still.. Not murmuring or complaining, Not on the phone with our friends and family telling of our troubles, but on our knee's in the quiet of early morning or late night, bringing our requests and troubles to Our Heavenly Father believing and waiting for Him to answer. It is in the answering of prayer that we know God is. We have to be still to hear Him, for He speaks quietly and leads gently. Have you ever said to one of your children "Be still, and listen to me!" That is what God is saying here when trials and trouble surrounds us, "Be still and know that I am God."

Beautiful card Becky. Love the colouring.
Your CAS card is gorgeous. I love how you colored the daffodils. Thanks for sharing your insight to the scripture. When you shared the part about us telling our kids to "Be still, and listen to me!" I could just imagine a frantic mom putting her hands on the kids face, with her face right next to theirs saying listen.
This is by far one of the prettiest one layer cards that I've seen! Your coloring is gorgeous!
Lovely card! Needed this verse today-thanks!
This is a beautiful CAS Card Bekky and I love how your sentiment is the feature of this card. The daffodils frame it beautifully.
Thank you for your thoughts - and for the beautiful but simple card you have shared.
Blessings
