Good Morning! I pray all of you have been having a fabulously creative week :). It is time for another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge...This week the lovely Kristine is the host, she has chosen:
Mark 15:17 "They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him." CONTEXT PASSAGE: See Mark 15: 16-20
Kristine's challenge for us is to:
Use shades of purple as your main color AND/OR use wood paper or elements on your card.
Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and they are giving away as a prize "Why do Birds Fall in Love".
I am always amazed what Jesus went through for mankind, how he suffered, one life for all who would believe in Him and live for Him. It always brings me to tears when I think that Jesus who was the creator of heaven and earth would put on the garments of flesh and put himself in the hands of men.And they did not recognize that there was a King in their mist. This is why I take suffering as a blessing, for the Word say's "that all who has been called to be in Christ Jesus has also been called to suffer". Yes suffering is a privilege, it is a blessing called forth from God. When you look at the life of Christ, the life of the disciples, the life of the Martyrs, there is a whole cloud of witnesses before us to show us that suffering is a blessing.
This stamp is from SU, I colored the stamp with marker's then stamp onto Gina K luxury white cut out with spellbinders circle. That yarn is from my secrect owl Jenn, it came from Singapore.
Have a Blessed Day
