Good Morning! Well we had a few warm days (40's) and just about all of the snow has melted.
I haven't done a challenge for Our Creative Corner in a while and thought I would do one this morning. Their challenge this week is a color challenge "blue & cream."
Stamp is from Unity, one of my first Unity stamps, embossed, the gem in the flower is from Micheal's that I just stuck on there, used Stamping up cream & blue.
Sat I went over my girlfriends for a play date, she is an SU demo. These were my Christmas gifts from her, isn't she sweet :). I bought her the new ATG glue runner and 2 Tim Holtz stamps. We always create some new things, this time it was flowers out of ribbon, which is in the picture, very fun to do, you have to use heat to curl up the edges. She also made a gorgeous flower from the ornament punch, which I have stuck on my cork board :). It is large.
Well you all have a blessed & creative day, I am off today but go back to work tomorrow, I had a great time off.

This is so pretty...I love the pale blue and cream together!
Beautiful card, sounds like you had lot's of fun. That ornament punch is the best, it is what I used to make the roses and tea light roses for the paper cake I made for my parents 60th anniversary party. Looks like she gave you the owl punch? that is great as well and the Elizabeth stamp I can see so many things you will make with that.
Don't like your idea of "warm" but I do like your card!! It's so much fun to get together with a friend to create -- know you had fun!
Very pretty card Bekky and what a great gift you have received from your friend.
Beautiful card, such lovely, soft colours. Glad to hear your weathers warming up....will happily send some of our summer to you!
Have a great day.
Yummy colors-those colors are beautiful together! Lovely embossing! Nice Christmas presents!
Pretty card. Isn't it nice to have crafty friends? :)
So pretty Bekky. Happy creative new year to you.
Happy New Year! I am sitting in Seattle with a long layover, so I decided to try catch up on my blurfing! You sure were buys while I was off playing in FL! I would love to know how you made that ribbon flower! How cool is that?! And I did laugh at your one post that discussed disliking the cold. I don't like it either...how ironic that I have lived in it since 1998. Not by choice of course, but now I think we are going to retire in CO! LOL Hey, live for summer, right??!!
All your cards are so very pretty and elegant. Thanks for sharing, came over from FP and am pleased to be a follower!

Very pretty shades of blue and cream you have selected. That's a beautiful stamp you have used and it look terrific in the white. Nice clean look to your card - just lovely! We're very pleased that you could join in the fun with us this week at Our Creative Corner. Hope to see lots more of you in 2011.

Hi Becky
This is another beautiful card, I love the blue and cream.
Lovely elegance, Becky! Love the beautiful embossed flowers! Wonderful that you have a stamping buddy! The gifts are an extra added bonus! Happy New Year!
I love your card Becky and particularly notice you kept the matting & layering centred until you came to the last layer where you made space for the sentiment. This novice tends to centre everything but I'm learning!
Enjoy playing with your new gifts.

Hi Rebekka~
I love the cream embossed flowers on the light blue paper. It is so beautiful. Calm yet striking!
Your friend is very generous. I am glad you have someone near by to play with. No one here to play with...just the stamps and myself! However, I do get to listen to some wonderful sermons and music so I can Worship Him while making cards and such!
I hope you enjoy your lovely gifts. That flower came out wonderfully. Any tutorial in sight?
