Insight: This sounds like a good verse but is not always easy to do! We have a tendency to complain, bicker. We have to be right in what we say so we always try to get in the last word. But this edifies no one, is useful to no one. Our attitudes does not bring out the righteousness of Christ in us, let along shining our light for others to see Christ and to be touched by Him through us. Proverbs 18:21 ( one I must repeat often) say's, The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.We will bear the fruit of our words, to speak words of encouragement brings joy and peace to both parties, to speak ill or in anger does not bring joy or peace to anyone. Let us remember to watch the fruit of our lips. WORDS..
