Well The Weather Outside is Frightful!

Good Morning everyone. Well they cancelled work today, really? I was not going to come in anyway. As of 1 pm it was still snowing here and they were saying we were getting another 10 inches of snow, on top of the 2 feet we already got :).. But praise GOD, we have not lost electric..  I was out early this morning shoveling, and finally gave up and hired a neighbor who  had a snow blower. And he cleaned my roof all for 30 dollars :)..

Well, in the mean time I created this card for Our Daily Bread challenge, anything goes.

I seem to be in love with this die by ODB Asters & leaves, I have used it often and I used the Pennant swag stamp and matching die by ODB. So cute. Then used a flourish die to finish it.

Well that is it for me, back out to clean off my porch.

I am always so Thankful to you all who stop by and leave comments, it sure helps to keep me encouraged. :)

You really got socked in with snow. We got a few inches but no where near the 5 to 8 the were originally forecasting. Praise the Lord. It may be pretty but it sure is a lot of work.

Your card is elegant and clean Beautifully done. - Jim

The snow looks beautiful but I can't imagine 2+ feet of snow. Here in VA we only got about an inch and by this evening it was all gone. Looks like you had a very creative day off from work. Love the card!!!! I hope you still have power and didn't get too much more snow. Blessings!

Glad you are safe and warm. $30 was a deal. Even a young child, around here, would have wanted more, for half the snow. Very pretty card.

Oh my! You got blasted by the storm! It is pretty to look at, but not good for living in... I'll stick with my 73 :)

Fun banner on your card!

Becky, your card is beautiful! Love the pop of blue with that banner. So very lovely.
So glad you're ok and I've been thinking about you up there in that awful weather! Good idea about getting the neighbor to use the snow blower too. I know the shoveling must get so hard.

Oh my, I am so glad we didn't get all of that. That was a good move on hiring that snow blower and getting the roof cleared, and happy for you that you still have electric and heat. Lovely card and flower.

Brilliant card Becky, I love the banner.

Sounds like you are having more than your fair share of snow at the moment, we have it forecast here from tonight, so time will tell if that happens. Look after yourself and take care

Beautiful Becky, the flower is a beauty, and I love the simplicity of the card. Gosh what a lot of snow, where I live in the UK we see very little snow, had a few wintry showers yesterday, but back to rain again today, it looks so beautiful, but must be a nightmare to live with, keep warm, hugs, Colette xx

Becky, I was going to complain about our foggy, rainy, dreary days of winter and extremely cold, but I saw your picture and just said, "Thank you Lord!" LOL! I say you spent $30 in the best way. I hope you can reward yourself with some snow day fun and craft a bit! Love your card and I will think of my "blessings" today!

I love banner cards. I can see why you like this die. I don't have as much snow as you but I have a fair amount (22") and I am so ready for spring! Hoping it is around the corner for both us very soon.
