Merry Christmas

Well I am back and I sure missed you all. Even though I have not been crafting I have been stopping by leaving love.

I  have an add on room that was built way before I bought this place and it was an eye sore and an ice box in the Winter, even with a space heater in there I would freeze, so I had to close it off during the Winter and drag some things into the dinning room. I should have taken photos of the before they started, but I was to excited to get it done to think of it. I had new wood, thick insulation, siding and 5 windows done. Now this room is warmer then any other room in the house, with no space heater.

On top of having this done, I had cataract surgery done on both of my eyes. I had the right one done the week of Thanksgiving and the left one this Monday. Boy! can I see well, and with no glasses except for fine print.

So I have been very blessed this year.

I was up bright and early this morning and created this card for Our Daily Bread sketch challenge.

I used ODB Quatrefoil pattern die and ODB stamp & die set "Peace & Joy".  The paper is DCWV glitzy glitter.

I am also entering this for Word Art Wednesday "anything goes".

What a wonderful time of the year to remember Christ, the redeemer of the world and our only hope. No greater gift could we ever receive.

I pray all of you have a wonderful Christmas.
God Bless you all.

Congratulations on the comfy 'new' room!
This card is so brught and sparkly! It reminds me of all the Christmas trees we hung tinsel on, strand by strand, when I was a child. Lovely job, Becky!

Hello Becky,
Wow! that's some great space you have created. How I would love just a corner of that, I craft in the kitchen. OK it's a fairly big kitchen but it means I have to tidy "everything" away when finished. Are we ever finished crafting??
So glad to hear you're surgery is a big success, it's a beautiful world out there. Not to be able to admire it must be tragic.
Your card is STUNNING I love everything you have done on it.
God Bless you and yours, wishing you a wonderful Christmas.

Wow Becky I sure missed your creations....this is gorgeous. I know you will love your new space and be warm in it too. I had cataract surgery 2 years ago and couldn't believe the difference. It is wonderful to be able to see without glasses....still need them like you said for small print but overall can drive without them, read menus, etc. Have a blessed Christmas and a great New Year.

Hi Becky,
My Steve had cataract surgery done on both of his eyes, too. Now the only time he wears glasses is to read. I'm happy that your surgery turned out so well and that you have a new warm room for winter.

Congrats on your new improved room. :-) We live in an older house that's not insulated. It can get pretty chilly in the winter even here in the south. Your card is beautiful. I love all the sparkle and the color scheme. So glad your eye surgeries went well. Have a blessed Christmas and a happy new year!

So happy for you that you were able to get your room fixed and nice and warm. I felt that way when our spare bedroom that I use for my craft room had new windows put in...made the room much warmer.
Your card is lovely....

If you 've been reading my blog...you would know that I had cataract surgery done too on both eyes...Isn't it wonderful what they can do? I didn't realize my eyes were as bad as they were until the surgery. I was hoping to get my new glasses before Christmas...but that didn't happen, but my drug store glasses do help...I feel so blessed that all went so well... Merry Christmas to you!
