Hemmed In Prayer

Well Hello all.  I made this card for the challenge over at Our Daily Bread, "Stitch it." I just made it in the nick of time because the dead line is 6 pm to night..

This is an A2 card, and I used ODB Spool & Tape with the matching die, which makes crafting so easy. Colored with copics, added a button from SU.  The sentiment is from ODB "Wave in Faith."

One thing I have found to be true in this journey, is prayer. When things do not go right, problems with people, what ever it is, I do not let my emotions get the better of me, I go right to prayer and ask my Father "How should I look at this, how should I react, what is YOUR perfect will in this matter?" I always receive an answer and obey, in so doing I have been blessed with peace.  That is why I just love this sentiment from ODB, when we pray, we do not fall apart.

Well that is it for me today. I do pray that all of you have a Blessed week.

It's a lovely CAS, which is perfect for the sentiment! And I so agree about our first defense of running to Him in prayer! What a blessing it is to bring all our cares and burdens to Him!! Thanks so much for your wonderful thought and encouragement and for joining us once again, dear friend, at ODBD! You truly shine His light!! Hugs!

Becky, I just wanted you to know that I re-read your posting on this card today. I have been so troubled about my younger brother who is dying from restrictive lung disease. Your words have helped me to remember that God is in control and He will carry us through this tough time. Thank you for sharing.
