Live

Good Morning all.. Well we are back to o tempts last night and of coarse lot's of snow Wed. night.
I thank God that I got home safely, cars were doing 20 miles an hour on the highway.

We never really know when our last day will be. I had a close friend, Some years ago  her and her husband went shopping and got struck by another car, she died instantly her husband survived.  I was in shock, I know she went home to be with the Lord but it also awakened in me just how quick our life can be taken from us, how we need to live each day as it is our last day. We are to Love & Forgive, for today may be the only day we have.

I created this card for Our Daily Bread "Inspiration Challenge" I am not that good in color challenges or photos but gave it my best shot :).

Stamps: ODB Faith
Paper  :  SU cream
Other:    Spellbinders edgeabilities

I also won the shining the light for last weeks card.. How awesome is that after being away for so long.

I also created this card for Flourishes "create a card that celebrates something new"

This was one of the first stamp sets I  got from Flourishes called Rock A Bye Baby.
SU paper cream, spellbinders edge abilities

Well that is it for me, all of you have a Blessed Week, and Remember to live today as tho it were your last, I wonder, what we all would do differently..

Ooh, your butterfly card is gorgeous with a wonderful scripture. I absolutely love those curved borders and have been using them as much as possible.

The baby card is so sweet. That's such a cute image.

Beautiful cards Becky. I know exactly what your saying about our mortality. That was made very clear to me after the death of my dad. I realized we only get one time around. We have to make the best of it. Learn from our mistakes, value our relationships and don't live in regret. *Big hugs* stay warm my friend!

How refreshing your blog is, Becky!! Not only do you make the loveliest cards, but the thoughts you share on your relationship with our Lord really refresh my day! It's wonderful to walk with Him in this life and to have the assurance that our friendship with Him will continue for all eternity! Isn't it humbling to know that He considers His followers to be His friend?!!

Becky, I love the soft colors that you chose to color the image with. Don't you just love that set from ODBD? I have it too, and I don't think I've ever stamped the butterflies because I am weary about my coloring skills. You did a wonderful job on both.
