Faith

Good Morning all

Well it is snowing again here in RI, not to heavy, but heavy enough to shovel :).

Faith..I have been put into a new dept. and the job is not easy. I have been praying for the Lord to bless my mind and bless my hands. I have been on this new job for 2 days and for 2 day's in a row I have messed up the product. Then as I was praying it came into my heart that I needed courage and faith to fail! To try and try and not quit takes faith that HE has heard my prayer and HE will help me, but I can not give up. It takes FAITH to continue and not give up.

Today I am entering the Sketch challenge over at Splitcoast stampers SC473
I am also entering this for Word Art Wednesday, "anything goes".
Paper: Georgia Pacific
Stamp: ODB Faith & Special moments stickers
Other: Sizzix brick embossing, su coco ink, spellbinders die

Well that is it for me today, must go to work early today. :)
Have a Blessed Day

I LOVE the look of the flowers against the brick wall, Becky.

Just read your post about your workplace and my thoughts immediately returned to a similar situation I had at work. I understand your fears and your struggles completely and my heart goes out to you! So, Becky, be assured that I have already begun asking the Lord to strength and help you; and I know He will, just as He came along side me and strengthened me in my work situation. Here is a scripture that He showed me that really encouraged me. Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Sending big hugs!

Gorgeous card! Is the 'wall' the paper or did you stencil some paste or gesso over it?

Hi Rebekka--

This card is just amazing! The wall looks like it is five inches thick! The flowers are beautiful and so brilliant in color!

I love what you shared. It is humbling to see you write about something being a challenge to you. I know we all have them...but your art is always so stunning, and your stories are so strong in faith. Judt keep doing what you are doing, Sweetie. Pray. He's always with us right? So if this project--let's say didn't work...know He has something better in line for you. Rebekka He loves you so much. (Just a reminder!)

His,
Traci Starkweather

Oh, your card is so wonderful. Love that base paper and that image is wonderfully fitting with the background. I am sure the Lord has a purpose for the new position He assigned you with. When I can't seem to figure things out, I simply ask the Lord to empower me and I know He's doing the same in your life. So delighted you shared your artwork with us at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with a verse coming from 1 John 5:4 which says, "For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith." Have a blessed week!
