My Yoke is easy

Good Morning all! My computer froze on me for a few days, I hope it was just a glitch, it is working fine now. Maybe it is was tired or just to hot :).

I created this card for Stampin Sisters In Christ, "Make a C.A.S card"
Their verse this week Mt.11:30 "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light". This is the type of verse you can meditate and ponder on for years.
One of the things I have learned from this verse is, a yoke was used to put two beasts together to do labor. I am yoked to Jesus by the Holy Spirit, and if I be a new creature in Christ, my desire is to be holy, Christ is with me through all of my trials, hurts, pains and victories, it is easy because all it takes is faith, and even faith has been given me by God to believe. I could go on and on but I will stop here :).

Receipe:
Tim Holtz embossing folder 'fancy & floral frames'
Stamp: studio 112 ( dollar stamp :) )

You can't get more simple then this.
My second one is for Stamp TV Mix it up Monday "use gold"
I gold embossed Gina K lovely labels and used spellbinders label 1 to cut it out, I also used Marianne die LR0150, ribbon and gems are from 'my minds eye'.

Well that is it for me for today, I will be going around visiting every one to see what fabulous creations you all have created today.

Have a Blessed Day

Hi Becky,

I love both sayings. They helped me deal with difficulty today. They're both lovely cards. I love one-layer cards, and yours is simply beautiful. TFS!

Amen Sistah. Love your card so very much but your words just melted my heart! My daughter's just came back from service a few weeks ago where the pastor spoke in length about the yoke. Very thought provoking! x0x0

They are both lovely. I think I prefer the first one, just a bit more, because it's all white save for the pop of colour on the flowers. The spot colouring is super effective.
