Insanity of sin

Good Morning!! Well another busy weekend of digging up a garden and planting flowers. I have never planted a garden in my life, so now all I can do is pray :).

My pastor preached an awesome sermon Sunday, "Insanity of sin", sin has no mercy, it is like a cancer that is very aggressive and it will keep you out of the kingdom of God if you do not take sin seriously. It will kill destroy you, it will kill you and the end cast your soul into hell.
I tell you not a dry eye in the sanctuary, and the alter was filled.  Little sins grow into big sins and we are to be watchful over the most precious thing we own "OUR SOULS."

I created this card for 2 challenges. Our Daily Bread "sketch" and Stampin Sisters in Christ "build it up."
Recipe:
Stamp: Our daily bread "Faith" along with the matching die
Other: cuttle bug folders, stick pin I made, su punch, copics.

I decided to do the challenge over at the Sweet Stop,Sweet 'n  Sassy's sketch challenge. This is one of their digi stamps colored with copics and stickles. I just love stickles :). The ribbon is from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and the paper is "me and my big ideas".

And finally a challenge from Stamp TV, Free For All Friday, case the DT Michelle Woerner.
The stamp is "Friendship's Garden " Gina K. used  labels 14 for the sentiment. I copied this card of her's.

Alright, that is it for me, I do pray that all of you have a Blessed Week.

WOW! I have never heard or read this thought presented so clearly. Thank you for sharing it.
Lovely cards! The first is striking with all of the embossing and the image cut out and popped up. The 3rd is elegant in it's simplicity, and the 2nd card has taught me that I can cut off part of a panel. It looks great!

Three wonderful cards. The embossing creates lovely textures on the first one. Yellow and flowers always make for a cheerful, sunny card. And the CAS design on the third one is so pretty.

Sweet cards, and very true about small sins becoming large ones. And my experience in the church is that the conviction does come, and the altar is full, but true repentance does not apply to a lot of those that then leave the altar. They go on to continue and live the same, if not worse. So sad that Christians don't willfully make a change to walk in healing, and wholeness, when God has made a way for them, through Jesus and the work of the cross.

Oh my goodness, so much wonderful things going on here!!! I am just in love with every card you made, they look so professional with your amazing coloring and the great layouts. The yellow flowers really catch my, guess yellow may be a favorite color because reminds me of sun and I know RI is not getting much of that, after speaking with my son.

I can't decide which of your three cards is my favorite. I love the embossing on the first. The colors on the second one were stunning, and the third one is so elegant looking. I loved reading about what your pastor shared. It is so sad that some people think that little sins are ok, just make sure you don't do the big ones like murder, or steal ...but the little ones are just as dangerous. It makes me think of rattlesnakes. They are dangerous whether they are big or little and should be left alone. I've been thinking about you, and you are in my prayers, sister! Hope you are having a blessed week!
