In my heart

Well Good Morning... I tell you I worked harder Sat (my day off) then I did all week at work :). I have a screened patio and after the winter the stone looks rough. I had to soak it, scrub it, use a shop vac to suck up the water and empty it 50 times ( a little exaggeration) :). but close! Then I waxed the stones, by hand on my knees,  then I decided to wash and wax my car as I was waiting for the patio to dry. I was so stiff later in the day. My day started at 6 am and I finished at 2 pm. Decided to go to my old neighbor hood and take Hercules speed walking. Then I visited some one else and told them I could not stay long because I am so stiff, she said " you need to exercise!"  Really? Did you not hear what I have been doing all day. :)

I meet a lady in church Sunday that really touched my heart, she is new in Christ and it was so strong in my heart to make this scripture card set for her.

The scriptures and image on front of the card are from Our Daily Bread. This really was a labor of love. I had to masked the hearts to stamp these flowers so they would not go into the embossed area. Each colored with copics. This is a 6x5 1/2. The flowers are from Lindy's stamp gang.

I am entering this for Our Daily Bread challenge, pick an inspiration photo that is on the blog, I picked #1

Thanks for stopping by
Have a Blessed Day

Becky, these are so beautiful! And what a wonderful gift for a new friend. So pretty and know she's going to love them too.
Sounds to me like you got plenty of exercise on Saturday - and maybe enough for the entire week! LOL!

HI Rebekka :) Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I was getting lonesome :0) This card Scripture set is gorgeous!! I love how you stamped inside the Nestie. I just read about a Technique on SCS where you leave the cardstock in the Nestie while stamping over the top, and I tried that, but it didn't really get close enough. Left an extra inside margin so ... I think next time I'll cut out the shape and use the left-over as the mask and then stamp. Anyways, you have a big heart to do up all of these for her. She's sure to be so touched by your labor of love.

And your Sat. sounds like my Monday! I mixed up about 5 tubs of drywall mud with water and I texturized the whole new hallway, closet and I let hubby do ceiling. It must've been 90 degrees in there. My arm was about to fall off. LOL. Have a great day/week!! Hugs, Kris
