Word Art Wednesday

Good morning.. Well let me tell you, coming home Monday night was a fright. I left work at 12:30 am and the snow was coming down so fast you could barely see. Traffic was going 30 in a 55 . I just prayed and asked my Father to protect me and get me home safely, I had no doubt He heard me and had perfect peace as I continued to drive home. This morning was 50 degrees :)..I just love New England weather..

Well, down to this weeks challenge at Word Art Wednesday..
I love this verse, God commands not suggest, to be Strong and Courageous..

I hope you join the challenge this week.  Check out the Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog to see what the other design team members created with this week's art.  Be sure to check out the challenge guidelines to find out how you can be eligible for the weekly prize drawing from this week's sponsor, Crop Stop. A lovely card and an even more lovely verse! The corrugated lines under the beautiful border is a great touch! Glad you made it home safely! I know how scary it can be driving treacherous roads.

Hi Becky; Thanks for coming to visit my blog today. I thought I would come over to see what you are up to and what a sweet card with an awesome verse I find!!! I love the crimping and the deep edge MS border punch. This is just delightful.

I see that you live in Bristol. I am originally from Plainfield, CT and can picture you town in my head as I drove through it many times. That New England weather can really creep up on you. I am not sure I would even know how to drive in the snow anymore...lol

Thanks again for visiting. Your cards are beautiful.

Beautiful. It looks like it should be framed and hanging on the wall.

Love your card. Love the border in the top too.

And what you said, is so right. That God commands... He's not suggesting. Thanks for that insight.

God bless.... have a great day.

Love the way the top of the card is die cut.
This verse speaks for itself doesn't it? I feel like I've been to church today reading everyone's blogs on Joshua 1:9.
Isn't it awesome we get to see our scriptures at work in our lives? I'm so glad you got home safely.

I am so thankful that you made it home in that snow. My first thought when I saw your card was, Rebekka has captured and portrayed a taste of Spring. Thanks for pointing out that it is a command not a suggestion. I think I'm guilty of forgetting that sometimes. Hope you are having a blessed week. HUGS!!!

After 50+ years enduring New England and Indiana winters... I LOVE FLORIDA!
...and I love this card, Becky. The soft colors and your perfect coloring, and the wonderful verse you chose. The MS punch creates the perfect top border.
