Good Morning All..
Yesterday I decided to clean the lint from my dryer, hearing about dryers being the number one cause of fire I wanted to make sure it was lint free. I started out with the lint catcher using a long brush, I must have pulled out over gallon of lint, so I figured if it is that bad from the front I will pull it out and disconnect the air hose, once pulled off I got tons of lint from the hose, long story short 2 hours later :), I could not get the vent hose back on, it was old and torn, 50 dollars later and 3 hours the job was finally done, but now my sliding doors to the space for the washer and dyer has to be fixed :). I guess after opening and closing for 28 years I might put some new ones up or maybe I will do curtains. What do you think??
I made this card for Stamp TV "Free For All Friday" flower and 2 shapes.
The stamp is Gina K " Lovely Labels" by Nina Brackett embossed on Gina K luxury white, mounted on a black square then I used Spellbinders classic frame and cut off the top and bottom and glued to the square, then I mounted it on "Colorbok pearlescant paper" which I embossed with cuttle bug dots.
Have a Fabulously Blessed Day

Beautiful card Becky. Love the yellow and black together and that pretty embossing.
Glad you got that dryer fixed!
Lynn
Isn't it amazing how we get one thing fixed and it causes something else to be repaired! Breathtaking beautiful card!
Gorgeous! I love this color combination.
This is beautiful Becky! Love the daffodils, so cheery.
Well, if I were you, (of course not seeing your doors) I would suggest a curtain or even one of those accordian sliders. We are redoing our garage into the girls' bedroom but need part of it for storage, so instead of building a permanent closet door, we opted for a curtain. They've got real pretty ones out there now and they also have nice according folding thingies in white (goes with everything!) that are easy to install or change if ya wanna later. :) HTH... good luck with that! I prolly need to do the same with my lint dryer.
Beautiful, Becky! Love the colors and the pop of yellow on the flowers! Lovely card!
Becky your card is ever so gorgeous!! Love the colors. Thanks for the remind of the hair dryer, I need to do mine.
Beautiful card Bekky - I do love your style - so economical,, and yet stunning.
I hear you about the lint - I clean the lint filter every time I use the drier.... but have not disconnected the hose in a long time........ maybe I need to look deeper into mine.
Blessings
Maxine
This is so pretty Becky! I'm loving the black and yellow combo! Love this stamp too! I need to do the exact same thing... I cleaned my dryer as much as I could reach but the vent needs to be done. My dryer isn't drying well at all and I wonder if that might have something to do with it? Thanks for the reminder!
Have a great week!
hugs,
Grace
OH that is so scary! I don't know how many times I"ve had to send dh out there becuase I kept smelling something odd - and he's swearing the hose is fine, the lint trap is cleaned out, and yet I still smell something almost like it's burning! I just keep a close eye when the dryer is on!
Now your card - WOW!!! So striking with the bold yellow with the black and white - perfect!! Love the little flowers :) Hugs!
I love this gorgeous creation, Rebekka. I have this set and have seldom used it! You have inspired me to pull it out and give it some loving attention!!
Great idea to clean it out. Our hose actually goes up and out on the roof, not sure why they do that here in TX, but what a challenge. Very ambitous and great job done for you. Love your card, the colors, layout and love the die.
WOW!!!! This is gorgeous, still having computer problems, I'm at work (lunch time)trying to comment as much as I can......
love the colour combo and the sentiment is perfect classy
hugs Kate xx
Great color combo and nice layout.
Oooh...great color combo!!
so frustrating when a simple task turns into a full project! but sounds like you were wise to get all that lint out...i should do same!
beautiful card - so fun to play over at STV...best of luck to you in the challenge (-:
it's always the way isn't it? Fix one thing something else goes. If your doors have given you fuss free access for 28 years Rebekka than that's pretty fabulous.
What a lovely card today with such a striking colour combination.
LOVE LOVE this card! Great color combo. Very Pretty! So glad you decided to stay in the Tangled Blog Group!

Beautiful colors Becky and a wonderful design!
Those colours are perfect together.
i LOVE that sentiment...and the bright flowers pop with the black...and Re the sliding doors if it were me i'd do curtains...sliding doors dislike me for some reason...actually thinking of doing curtains in my crap room since i'm always "arguing with the sliders
What a BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL card Rebekka!!!! I love it!!!
Your card is so beautiful Bekky, yellow always makes me smile, its such a cheery colour.
I am pleased to hear you had your dryer fixed, its always the way though when you start on something you always find something else needing attention.
Beautiful card, one of my favorite scriptures, and I like the yellow and black together.
Beautiful Becky, and a combo I haven't tried, I'll have to make a note. Hugs Tracy x
Isn't it funny how a "small" project always leads to a bigger and bigger project!! But, I should check the back of my dryer too. Love the card!!
Very nice! The frame is beautiful!
Lovely cards Rebekka.... you have been really busy... love the embossed cards especially - they are stunning.
