Loving Our Daily Bread

Good Morning. It has been a busy week for me working, but I just had to get out a few challenge's I missed doing last week. Our Daily Bread 'Sketch' challenge. This  scripture is  from collection 3 and I used their vine borders. The button  is from Jolee and I added a bling dot to it. Design paper is from basic grey, using su punch.
I love this verse, for in this life there are so many trials, twists and turns that we can not help but to get emotionally involved. I will just began to pray with this verse until my mind is at rest, that my heavenly Father see's and knows everything going on in my life and He does have a purpose and I must trust in that to maintain peace that passes all understanding.

Stamp: ODB Scripture collection 3, ODB vine borders
Other: cuttle bug, swiss dots embossing folder

My next one is for Our Daily Bread, Stamping in time with Betty, "embossing". This is from their new release 'sew special' love this new set, reminds me of sitting with my great great grandmother Priscella, listening to her  as she rocked in her rocking chair telling us stories of when she was a child, she was a quilt maker and was very proud that she was the first born free slave in the family. She use to take us to the cabin in which she was born, that we would not take for granted our freedom. She was an awesome lady.

Stamp: ODB Sew Special
Paper: Su and basic gray
Other: ODB die for rocking chair ( how awesome)

Well you all have a Blessed week
Thank you so much for stopping by

Hugs & Blessings :)

Great cards. I love that top one, that is a verse I have to remind myself to read often. The bottom one reminds me of my great grandmother too, she was a quilter and I have so many memories that involver her rocker, quilt pieces and the quilting frames she used. thanks for the reminder of that time.

Gorgeous!!! Love them both and especially the rocking chair with the quilt. Great job. Heard the storm is heading for RI this weekend, take care of yourself. I warned my son to be careful, he has never been in a large storm before, other than blizzards when we lived in CT.

I've so missed coming here to see your beautiful work. These cards are so you. So well thought out and put together. I thought of you the other day when I saw a sentiment on a card that read: "Be willing to let go of the life you've planned and be happy with the life God want's you to have." It just reminded me of you. Hope you are well. Best, Curt
