Friend of Mine

I was at a bridal shower some time ago and gave the young lady a gift and a card, in the card I wrote that one of the greatest gifts she could ever receive was prayer, she said that is nice, but I would rather have the gifts..
I have always considered a good friend one who can and does pray for me. Prayer has great power for those who believe. My best friend is one who prays, I am known to be any where and stop and pray with a person, whether in church, grocery store ect. Prayer is the greatest gift you can give me, Prayer is one of the many privileges Christ gave, and it cost Him so much, why not use it!!

This card is for the Craft's Meow sketch challenge that is going on for the month of July. This gorgeous sentiment is from Craft's Meow.

Have a Blessed Day

Becky, love your card, all the white space sets off the embossed piece. I hope the young lady you spoke of understands the power of prayer someday. I agree with you, about the gift and power of prayer. If you ever need prayer just email me at the email through my blog, and I will pray. Hugs

I can't believe she said that! (Hopefully she was joking) I pray each day for people in need (or even just because they were nice to me in some small way). Love your card. Simple yet stunning.

Such an elegant card, Becky. I agree with you 100% a good friend does pray for you and it is the BEST gift. If this new bride only knew how much prayer she was going to need during her first year of marriage.

Such a beautiful card. I love all the white space and the embossed background.

I hope the girl at the bridal shower was just joking when she made her comment. If not, then she is either very immature, or she has never gone through hard times where all she could do was pray.
