A Lamp

Good morning...It is time for another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge..MariLynn  is the host this morning and she has chosen -

Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Her challenge - No designer paper, Paper must start as a solid color.
Our Sponsor is Clear Dollar Stamps, 15 dollars in stamps.

Please stop by to read MariLynn's devotion at Stampin Sisters In Christ. And stop by my other wonderful sisters to be inspired and to show them love.

Insight:
I learned early on in my Christian walk that God is in full control of all things. When Joseph was in prison, God gave him favor among the ungodly. Job, who lost all his family and wealth in one day, learned that nothing can be done to a redeemed child without God's authority or permission. Like those who have gone before us, the Christian journey is not paved in gold, but with mine fields and pot holes, storms, mountains and day's of great darkness..But we who are called the redeemed, can walk through all in peace, knowing that God is right there with us and that He has a purpose and plan for our life, all we have to do is believe..

Stamp: clear dollar stamps, Our Daily bread,
Ink: black memento, copics
Tools. MS fence punch, SU flower punch

Thank you for stopping by
Rebekka

Wonderful insight my friend. I love your card with those pretty little flowers. I always wanted a house with a little white picket fence, still don't have it. I wonder if there will be picket fences around our heavenly mansions? I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi Becky! Your card is a delight to the eyes and spirit! Your words are so true and I thank you for sharing them today! The Christian life is NOT a bed of roses... and there's no promise that it will be... but He does give us the grace we need and it's sufficient for us... and when we love Him and are called according to His purpose... we can claim this "bigger picture" promise! I hope you have a wonderful week!!!
hugs,
Grace

Rebekka, I was very deeply blessed by Marilynn's devotional and testimony. Then I saw your card which showcases my life verse, chosen when I was saved at age 8. The wise words you also had to share brought tears to my eyes. Thank You!!
As believers we never know when our Light is going to shine (through our words or actions) to bless or encourage someone. I'm convinced that most of the time we don't know and that God works best through those who are humbled before Him so that they are shining in obedience to HIm, and not earthly accolade! You are one of those Sisters!! The humility and wisdom of the words you speak from the heart are powerful for the Lord! God Bless You!

Great words Rebekka, the road is not paved with gold and we often forget that or whine when we feel it should be paved that way! Thank you for sharing that and what a lovely card! It reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia, actually, the lamp in Lantern Waste. :)
