Special Hop for Valerie

Good Morning: Today we are having a special blog hop for Collen Dickinson.  This image was created for Collen's daughter who was killed in a car accident at the age of 19. This was a letter sent to Whimsy stamps for a contest to name a new stamp,
Crissy,
This image is just adorable! It reminds me of my daughter at a young age. Her name is Valerie. It would be such an honor to have the stamp named after her because she is the one who started me in rubber stamping. I received all her craft stuff after she passed at age 19, in a one car black ice accident on her way to work. That was 10 years ago and I'm still using her heat gun.
I would absolutely love to have a stamp named after her.
Thanks
Tho she did not win in that contest to name the stamp, Wimsey Stamps contacted her  and told her they wanted to name this image "Valerie's Gift". Are they not just precious, God Bless Whimsy stamps for their loving hearts.
Mary-Ann & Olga thought it would be a great idea to do a hop on this day with this image to honor Colleen Dickinson's Daughter Valerie.

I colored her in copics, the dp is S.e.i, flourish is by sizzix.
Please spread some love to my fabulous friends involved in this precious hop.

Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another.
Romans 12: 10

Thank you so much.
Have a Blessed Day

Rebekka

Hello Rebekka! Crissy here, the one who drew Valerie's Gift! I have hopped through all the blogs and have come back to leave comments. Let me say first of all, that I have never before done a blog hop with tears streaming down my face. But I sure did today.
What is even more significant that you may not realize, is that I also have a daughter named Valerie. And so I feel there is even more of a connection there.
The fact that I could be a part in touching Colleen in this way has made me feel so emotional, I can't stop crying.
I go about my life, not really thinking about small acts of kindness having so much impact in another person's life. When Denise (of Whimsy Stamps) and I agreed we had to name this stamp after Colleen's daughter, we had no idea of the ripple effect it would have.
There is such a significance to the things we do, whether good or bad. And today I was honoured to see some of that right before my eyes. Thank you for doing this for Colleen, and thank you for honouring and multiplying the small act of kindness from Denise and I. I am really touched that I was able to be a part of it behind the scenes. What a gift you have given not only to Colleen, but to me and Denise as well. Sending hugs to you and your friends.

Becca at AmazingPaperGrace.com is Sharing the Comment Wealth and I picked you. I decided to pick someone who had commented on her Jan.1st post and then saw your name. My sister's name is Rebecca so I just had to check out your blog. When I got here I realized I had been here before. Love that beautiful "icy" picture. We used to wake up to days like that when I was young and lived in Minnesota. Absolutely awesome. Then I saw your post today and it just really touched my heart. What a sweet way to remember someone so dear. Great blog!!
