Stamp TV Sketch

Good morning, Stamp TV is doing something new, Gina is using videos to do their sketch and color challenges, so much fun to match and really helps to motivate when you are low on mojo. :).

Last night I was speaking with some people who were trying to evict some tenants from their apts. They had lost their jobs and could not pay the rent, I do not know how it is where you live but here in RI the homeless rate has escalated because of loss of jobs and high rents. Families are living in cars, moving in with friends and family, right next store to me 3 families are living in a one family house and I think of how blessed I am to have a job for 30 years and how I can afford this hobby of making cards. God has been so good to me. Every time I want to grumble I think of all that is going on around me and I have nothing to complain about for I am blessed. I am not just blessed because I have a job, I am blessed because I have Christ, that no matter what happens He cares and will make a way for me. Christ is my joy whether I have or have not.

Supplies:
Stamp: Gina K year of the flowers by Melanie Muenchinger
Paper: Gina K Lipstick Red, recollections foil

Have a Blessed Day

I hear you Becky, my son tells me about RI all the time and how tough it is. I agree, when I think of something I think is tough,it quickly turns around to thanking God for everything He has blessed me with. Your card is gorgeous! I love Swiss Dots on the Gold and the poinsettia.

Your card is gorgeous before I forget, no matter how low we feel at times, you can always look around and see many worse off. I thank God every day for all he has blessed me with. Bill has been out of work off and on for 2 years now and with all the medical bills I still have a few extra $ for this hobby. Makes me feel ashamed at times to think of some going hungry. Thank God I have a Awesome God!

Your card is so beautiful and elegant, Becky.
I know exactly how you feel about being so blessed and I say a prayer of thanks every night for all of our blessings and pray for those who are going through such difficult times. I help where I can with food and clothing here in our community. I hope this helps to lighten someone's burden somehow.

Becky from time to time we see reports of what is happening to many American families. It is so sad and so wrong.
We do as you say have so much to be thankful for.
I am sending you a cyber hug from down under to touch your beautiful heart :)

Oh Becky I do agree - just the thought of being homeless is so frightening - so few of us appreciate just how much we have.
