Deep Thoughts

This is my Splitcoast sketch 230 challenge. I am always amazed how some of you ladies can post beautiful cards daily, this challenge comes out on Sat's and I am just finishing it :). This is a rubber stamp by "creative images" they have some beautiful stamps. I colored this with pencils markers and oms and then put crystal effects on the flower and hat, (you can not see it). The paper is is from Papertrey (and it is fabulous) and the design paper is Basic Grey.
I am getting a new computer with Vista and I have a lot of work to do in getting my harddrive to this computer erased and saving what I want. If any one has suggestions "holler" :). I keep getting messages from her telling me "there is no more room" yes it is a she :) and she is old and ready to retire, she is a dell and I do swear by dell computers, I have never had a problem with them, but a hint for anyone who is looking to purchase one, order on line, never buy from a store, you get so much more for your money when you order direct. This computer is a Honda 5 speed and I am getting a Corvette fully loaded :).
Have a Blessed Day

Great job with this sketch! I found this a hard sketch to do for some reason. Enjoy your new "corvette". :)

that is a great image! i'm not familiar with that stamp company!!
i love the way you colored her - just so pretty!

as for any hints --- the only thing i can suggest is to get an external hard drive that you use to save things like pics/ideas/docs/ etc. We had Dells when I taught and they were great I agree!

Beautiful card and image! I like how you layered all the different cs and PP. Seems like a challenging sketch but yours looks so effortless.

Have fun with your new computer! vroom...vroom... :)

Becky, this is so beautiful! Great job coloring; pretty papers too!
I'm going to need a new laptop soon and I didn't even think about buying online....guess I should rethink that, huh? Thanks for mentioning it! I'm also not sure what I would "switch over" to my new one...alot of my "stuff" and files are on my flashdrive. I'll be sure to talk to you when it's my turn...you'll have it all sorted out by then! lol
take care
blessings, Maria

Some of those SCS sketches are tough and you did a great job on this one. I would like a new computer as mine is pretty full and running a little on the slow side these days. Hubby has a great laptop and is getting close to upgrading and then I'll get his and the kids will get mine. They're pretty eager for it too. They want to play games on Nick Jr as long as they want.

Wonderful card, Becky. I got my 2nd Dell last summer and am sooooo happy with it, luckily I was able to get mine with XP Professional, I wasn't ready for Vista yet. Good luck in saving, we copied the whole thing to an external hd and still have the old pc but not hooked up. I was able to retrieve all of my pictures and that's what I needed more than anything else. Enjoy your new Corvette! I like a '57 blue and white Chevy personally! LOL My dream car!
Hugs!
